i think the great 1080ti is aorus 1080ti liquid cooling edition or msi hawk liquid edition

they can get more overclock than any air cooling

if u don't worry about your electricity cost

I've been buying up different versions of the cards just playing around with what I think is a cheaper and better watercooling solution and I've learned that many of the cards are nearly identical. I've never really worked in that industry, but it feels like everyone took a pre-plotted reference design and just customized the heat sinks because my water block design bolts up to more than one brand of card perfectly.

Tbh there really isn't a big difference between these cards, they all mine at about the same speed. The Seahawks are mainly AIOs(iirc) and cards with water blocks meant for EKWB kits and not really worth mining with as EKWB kits can be pretty expensive. You might get temp differences but that's about it. Most people just pick the cheapest cards and if they happen to not run as well, returns are free most of the time. As long as you aren't mining in a stuffy room with little ventilation heat should not be an issue, especially in a open bench system.

Hello guys, So Im starting a 2nd mining rig. Been using GTX 1070 msi gaming x for a while and its just great.
This time Im going to use GTX 1080tis, ut I need few heads up and listen to your experiences.

Which one do you think is the best for mining throughout these 1080tis versions ?

MSI, Asus, Zotac, PNY,... ect

And have anyone tried

MSI GTX 1080TI Gaming x Trio
MSI GTX 1080Ti Sea Hawk
MSI GTX 1080Ti Sea Hawk EK X

looking forward for your answers and I appreciate all the help.

I have MSI 1080ti gaming x and MSI founders edition, the gaming x has 2 cooling fans with better cooling solution and i like the dragon style, when it comes to hashrate the gaming x is slightly higher but not that a huge difference, i'd just read somewhere that Zotac extreme is good at hashrates however it is not really that far compared to other brands

I believe ASUS is the most common/used among miners, also it is nothing but a waste of money to get a watercooled GPU, I believe MSI Sea Hawk series are watercooled/hybrid combined GPU.
