I thought na nag iiba ung fee when it comes to transferring crypto from a custodial wallet to a hardware wallet, that is why I asked if there is a difference. Yun naman pala eh walang pinagkaiba, it is just a normal transaction din pala. Thank you po!

I'll be locking this thread since nasagot naman na yung tanong ko! To avoid congestion of spam comments. Thank you so much for all the responses!

2. May fee ba kapag nagtatransfer ng crypto from coins.ph/ exchange/ or any kind of wallet sa hardware wallet?

1. Meron bang na mabibili thru FB wherein there is a lower price offered comapred to the original price and maintains the originality of the product?

Wag ng mag-risk kung hindi naman kailangan. Napakadumi ng FB in terms of fake, scam, etc.

3. Hardware wallet recommendations? Please explain why it is useful.

Ledger at Trezor.

I'd stick with either Ledger[1], Trezor[2], or ColdCard[3]. Please, buy the product sa official site mismo, to prevent unnecessary problems. Though very unlikely, possible ung tampered devices; and knowing na ung coins natin ay could be worth a lot more sa future, iririsk mo pa ba funds mo para makatipid ng konting pera?

Good decision bro.

Mabilis gamitin.
  • Buy it from their website. But, never expect na magiging mabilis yung pagdeliver nito sayo.
  • Medyo may kamahalan pero well-worth-it.

Any reading material that you can suggest?

Thanks, for the recommendation na sa official website na lang bumili to ensure the safety of the assets. Mahirap din pala kapag ni resell baka mamaya na tap na yun which can increase the possibilities of getting hacked instead of protecting the assets.

Though I haven't had any of it but I am planning naman for future use pero in terms sa usefulness talagang makakasiguro ka dyan sa privacy mo lalo na ikw talaga may hawak ng assets mo. I'm sticking sa non-costudial software wallet at the moment but as I said mas mabuti talaga yung hardware wallet.

Watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZezumEosMI (Ledger Nano S SCAM/HACK Explained)

Discussed in this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/security-iwasang-gumamit-ng-custodial-wallets-at-iba-pang-security-tips-5215182

Greetings People,

Based on the recent attack in coins.ph and and a case wherein one of the member here in our community lose his/her funds, bigla akong nag alala with regards to my funds in coins.ph. Kaya nagpaplano sana ako bumili ng hardware wallet that can store BTC, ETH and XRP since ito lang din naman yung laman ng coin.ph ko. However, I have a few questions.

1. Meron bang na mabibili thru FB wherein there is a lower price offered comapred to the original price and maintains the originality of the product?

2. May fee ba kapag nagtatransfer ng crypto from coins.ph/ exchange/ or any kind of wallet sa hardware wallet?

3. Hardware wallet recommendations? Please explain why it is useful.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
