A few days ago, i got restricted on linkedin probably for adding too many connections, though i only got to know its against their rule for one to be requesting multiple connection in a day, ive asked them in a helpdesk chat is there was anyway my account can be restored back, they said i will have to go through KYC, i agreed and they provided a form for me to submit my documents, i did and up till now, ive not heard anything from them.

facebook, twitter, instagram, linkedin ...well , i cant say they are all shit , but to some extent, they are
Probably you need to wait for few days to get your account back? Huh Every social media is shit when we are facing such issues but they are trying to give smooth experience for every user then only they can build database for more people as much as possible for them.
I got a mail from them this morning informing me that the restriction on my account have been lifted... Big ups to them.

I know what they do is for the good of their users but they should at least send warning pop up's or email when ever they discover the person going against their rules instead instead of restricting or banning without notice,
I mean most people don't even read this rule and regulations or whatever it's called.
If people didn't give much attention to their terms when signing up it doesn't mean they can give exception when they go against their rule, fortunately you got the temporarly ban as a warning which speaks more than a popup warning. Smiley

I think it'll best to warn users who break the small rules before they are banned. Two or three warnings should ok. The first and second warning could come with some sort of minor verification for the users, then the next violation results to suspension.
One main reasons I stop using the large social media regularly back then (even when I find something useful to share) is this problem of getting suspended after "investing" heavily on them. I almost started using them regularly again but I have gotten too used to reading posts as Guest for +2years now...and that seems to be much better for me.

A good friend of mine had a similar problem. He had around 30k followers on twitter and just got banned out of nowhere. The only thing twitter told him was he was violating TOS agreements and they wouldn't unban him. Which wa crazy because he wasn't posting anything illegal or any bad things. He told me that when to many people report your account you get banned automatically
Seems very unfair to me. He has now a new account with only a 10th of his followers.
Maybe the report was valid and verified by Twitter and that's why your friend's twitter account got banned. Did your friend tell you any reason why people reported him?

It could be his attitude towards others or any tweet that he did which might have offended a lot of people.

Many social media outlets are banned for leaking personal information but most twitter accounts are usually hashtags and re-tweets two tools on twitter that allow you to create your own position among your followers. Re-tweet is a tweet shared by others that you have shared on your own profile if you regularly re-tweet important links and content your own tweets will be more likely to be re-tweeted these are usually against the twitter Rules.

I have seen so many cases where bounty hunter's twitter handles were bans, because of accidental abuse, bounty hunters sometimes forget this rule, I don't know what kind of bot they are using, even if you are following and observing the rules people still got ban without being aware of breaking the rules.
actually we cannot call this an "Accidental abused" because as a user of each sites we must read and understand all rules first as it was asked before we finally create an account so this is a Negligence and laziness combined mate and this is not to be blamed in Twitter as they are only protecting their credibility and responsibility in preserving the platformed not to be abused.

so with this post?i hope those twitter handler may realized and understand all the circumstances may happen if they are not following rules and regulations.

One of the ways to avoid this is to use alternative follower systems I used the Kriptonode system, "satsforlikes".

I get the feeling that Rwitter is fighting for survival. It's never appealed to me, and I see so much bad press about it at the moment. It also seems to be quite destructive, and doesn't seem to offer many benefits these days.

But as far as I know, if your account is baned, then it can be recovered within 1-2 weeks after that
If your account got banned for breaking rules and their ToS you can no longer recover it. It's banned for life. From what I have read they don't even tell you which exact rules you broke. They just tell you that it is banned for breaking rules and regulations.

They can limit your account, asking to add and confirm a phone number. If you do, the limitations will be removed but consider this as the first step to your account being banned in the near future.

Yes, this is a big problem for those who want more followers on Twitter, but can’t do this, because in this case admins are blocking them.

Kinda strange Twitter allows NSFW stuffs but bans aggressive marketing/ campaigning.

All social media platforms have implemented algorithms that are against aggressive campaigns because those campaigns usually mean that something automated happens on the background. This is the reason why you are pushing them to block or ban your account. Everything needs to happen organically because this shows that the social media platform is healthy.

If you want to get followers without getting banned. First, you should follow the rules of Twitter and not break them. Your personal account should contain your real information and a striking image. you should publish useful daily exclusive tweets in your account as news or exclusive information in your field and contain pictures or tweets that include videos. You should contact the influencers on Twitter and build relationships with them and share them with your good comments on their tweets and write a question to get their responses. Post tweets about trending events and only use 2 hashtags.

Nice to know, Twitter banned my first account without any reason. Now I guess, it was because I had #followback in my profile description.  Roll Eyes
I wasn't very active and didn't make huge spam, only a few shitcoin airdrops requiring 1 tweet per airdrop. I tried to ask them for a reason but never received an answer...

Twitter and FB are 99,9% shit.  Wink

Hello friend, I know that twitter also ban inactive accounts. If your account remains inactive for a long time it might be banned or locked by twitter.  In my experience I found that my first twitter account was banned for losing my phone number, cause then It required phone verification.

The accounts that get banned are usually accounts that overdo it in terms of spam and following too many people in a short time. If you are a bounty hunter and you really need an account like that at least show some patience and build it slowly. Follow only 10-20 people a day. Don't use the follow4follow tags etc. Don't use a fake photo on your profile, supermodels, actresses etc.

In the end is it really worth it nowadays with ICO's? What can you really earn from such campaigns. None of them are paying in BTC or an established altcoin. They pay in their native token or don't pay at all. If they pay, is it even worth a few dollars and can you sell the tokens? Probably not.

So you are building this account for months to get enough followers. You risk having it banned and if it doesn't get banned you are looking into a reward of a few dollars worth of tokens that you can't sell.

Good stuff and very informative.
Twitter social media is now very strict on having fake accounts that might bad guy will spread false information. Last year twitter has been disclosed over 10k accounts as @TwitterSafety‎ said, that wave suspension was including mine even though I didn't have #followback in my profile.

In addition to OP might your twitter account suspended are:
- creating multiple accounts with overlapping use cases --> probably they will trace your IP and device use.
- Use the same tweet in multiple accounts or repeatedly posting duplicate content

Aggressive following behavior:
This is the most critical action that we should be careful. Most likely suspendable offense from twitter rules.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
I have a Twitter account that was suspended 2 times because of "follback" and the like, now no longer accessible. And based on my experience, every account can get unsuspend only once.

Will you please help me to move. If there is a way you can give me the suggestion that how to move.

Its not aggressive campaign, its simply spamming. Last year even multiple accounts are getting rekt by twitter and every new accounts that been create for the same purpose get ban after a few hours.

Most of the time only those users with excessive retweet from different ICO bounty are getting banned by their system. Its an automatic ban and chance of appeal for getting unbanned is slim.

They are still on banning accounts that's associated with bounty campaigns. And if you are looking to your twitter accounts as one purpose and that's only for bounties.

Be ye prepare to accept the consequence.

To avoid twitter account being banned is to never use twitter account for joining bounty campaigns. We all know that there are lots of people who join twitter campaign in ICOs. Some of them are spamming just to get the minimum posts required in the bounty campaign.

In conclusion this informations are the suspension of Twitter accounts are those who violate the rules of the Twitter community and that all can be learned more in the Twitter Help Center. And basically, in this forum, increasing the number of followers is only in demand by bounties (social media) hunters. And unfortunately, bounty hunters don't get out of their comfort zone so much that this important information might not be found in this place.
Btw @OP, are there plans to move this information where I think there will get more readers who are really interested in this topic?  Wink

Twitter banning an account is not without reason, it looks like the banned account is detected doing Spam or the account is reported by several users to Twitter.
My account was banned because I posted or retweeted too fast in a few minutes.
Try to appeal if it's a system error at https://help.twitter.com/en/managing-your-account/suspended-twitter-accounts
usually the system banned randomly. I have already tried the appeal and my account is reopened

Getting banned on twitter is no big deal, usually the first few bans are a warning - you can remove them by following their instructions, usually they just send you a link to your email. It's their way of telling you to stop doing what you are doing, or else you will be banned permanently. This is just another reason to avoid bounty hunting, not only the payments are bad, you will also have to work to constantly farm your social media accounts as they get banned from time to time.

Twitter been banning accounts that seems bit or shares only post regarding cryptocurrency, there should still be some personal other topic posted. Year 2018 when Twitter been too strict in banning pure crypto accounts due to scamming and spamming.

Yes, I agree with you. If they use twitter not only for promotional use but also for personal use then their account may be safe from banning.

Bounty hunters are promoting cryptocurrencies. And twitter looks for a real account. So bounty hunters need to proof that it is a real account. By the way they can tweet personal interests besides promotional activity. And this can be a good solution.

Twitter is banning accounts every day. Obviously those accounts denied twitter rules or bounds. Twitter has own rules of sending follow request or making followers.

Facts about twitter bans an account which was looking for followers

Aggressive following behavior: On twitter there are huge accounts created only for marketing purpose. Some account holder wants to be a big fan with huge followers in a few days. They keep following repeatedly and follows more people in a single time. Exactly this is a suspicious activity. Are there any follow limits and ratios on twitter? Yes, there are follow limits and ratios on twitter. https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/twitter-follow-limit

Asking another to follow: You can see a lot of hashtag #follow_me, #follow_back etc. Also, there are several posts saying follow me, follow each other etc. I've found huge accounts only posting tweet to follow each other and these all have a good number of followers. But asking anyone to follow is totally prohibited in twitter. So every account holder must follow twitter following-faqs. https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/following-faqs

Sharing handles to a third party for more follower: To reach huge follower  some account holder shares their twitter handles to third parties. But it breaks twitter rules. So don't share your twitter handle to third parties. If you do so twitter can ban your account. https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/twitter-rules

Everyone wish to see more follower. But if you pass over twitter rules your account must be banned. So you should follow twitter rules.
