Launching new projects, which will be similar to already existing on the market ones, is absolutely useless. We have enough coins already, now it's better to concentrate our attention on developing and upgrading reliable crypto projects and make cryptos with good reputation more attractive for users.

We've had enough, we don't need more altcoins because we have too many good altcoins and much more bad altcoins, if anyone is looking for a specific altcoin he or she needs to do better research on altcoins either through CMC or other, thy will definitely find what they are looking for 
I think at this stage every human encounters has been addressed by one or two project in crypto space. There are even duplicate of them and more. The important thing now is how they fulfil the promise of solving the real life problem they intend to solve . The failure of a particular project on a sector is what is bringing more project of it's like to that field and everyone ends up failing.
Each altcoin has different technologies, but I think the altcoins in the top 100 are the best altcoins and it will live with this market. So we should only invest in those altcoins, surely we will not have to fear the collapse of altcoins if the market continues to worsen.
There are many new projects today and we should be wise in choosing which projects will really give us a good profit and help further the development of crypto currency. Because if we invest in projects that are useless, we will only lose our hard-earned money. So it is better to invest in repubtable coins because this is what gave us a huge profit especially when crypto currency started to be accepted by government in different countries and people have awareness here I'm sure we will aslo experience to be an early adopters become millionaire like what happen in 2017

The market is saturated and people have tried many things like different ways of mining, cheap transactions, fast transactions, centralized coins, decentralized coins, coins with high supply, low supply, unlimited supply, expensive coins, cheap coins, anonymous coins.
We don't need experiments but community that will stand behind these coins and use them. Now there are hundreds of coins with 0 adoption and we could use just 1 or 2 that are really used.

I think what we need today are corrections and clean-up of altcoins. We all know that some altcoins are considered as shitcoins. I guess we need to focus to those altcoins that really gives relevance or solution to a problem. After that, we may now support the remaining altcoins.

In my opinion no need new project. There is already a huge amount of altcoin in the market, most of which are almost dead or scam. Now most of the new projects that come in are scam. So now it is difficult to trust the new project. So I think old projects should take priority. As with ETH, XRP, XLM etc for these projects, this projects developers are working to develop more.
I feel there should be no new altcoin that appears by bringing a technology similar to existing altcoin and we must maximize existing projects to be better in the long run, but indeed this will be difficult because it is a business competition. Altcoin which is old if it cannot survive will be replaced by new altcoin with the same technology.
That's what is happening right now, most of those old projects are being replaced by new created one. People are likely to follow new offers than continuing the support from old coins that's appeared to be long time forgotten, this kind of coins will die naturally as support from he communities are no longer active.
Based on what I searched, there are around 5,000 altcoins in the market and it seems some of them is already dead or basically has a zero value in the market. Even they create new projects and have the same concepts with the others I guess the new projects will only survive if they have a good community and has a huge number of supporters. Then, as long they have this they can definitely survive in the future. If the old altcoins really want to survive in the future and don't want to be surpassed by the new project they need to develop and improve their projects.
Most of the projects today are failed or sometimes end up with a scam that's why we can't also trust the new projects even they provide new concepts that can help us. And basically, it's better to stick with the old projects that have a good community and supporters just like Ethereum and Ripple.

Rather create new but existing project concept, we just have to support the old ones as there are already many users. It is understandable if the project that will be created is unique, but you have said it already that there are thousands and most of them have the same concept. If only those unique investors did change their minds and just go for the main and top coins, it would be easy for the price to jump, but what is happening is that new investors put their money on new projects and their money will just be cashed out by the team and did not even knew that they have secretly ran and gone.

We need a decentralized social media like Facebook and Youtube, we have seen so many projects like these in our midst but unfortunately, none of these projects are getting support, we need big names in the technology and we need great marketing to reach as many people as possible
if we have these established we will grow even more.
I think we need a real and practical new blockchain network that could fulfill upcoming demand i mean something like Eth but thousands time faster and cheaper so that blockchain can be implemented and used all across the world in all the fields of life especially that can fulfil the recent demand of smart contracts, automation, dApps and DeFi projects and applications and also prove to be instant transaction wise so that it could be the first choice for payements.

The new project will always release because the crypto industry will attract many people to try to make money. People with having skills in crypto technology will create a new project and invite many people to invest in them. I think it is our job to be selective for the project that can help us to make money and we should filter the coins in the market. Yeah, that's a good opinion which I definitely share part of it. However, I want to look at it in another direction. It is true that we need new coins with new idea and technology different from duplicating and packaging of existing ideas. But even the existing ones, how far have they gone in executing or working towards the delivering of mouthwatering ideas they presented in their white papers initially? Many have gone to extinctions for sure. I am of the opinion that, if new coin still want to work on existing idea and make it work better than the existing ones, then I am fine with it rather than developing new ideas that will be short lived. Improving on existing idea or technology is not bad to me.
They just won't stop. They keep on replacing and re-innovating the existing projects which they think lacks of something which they ends up creating a new one and adding to the massive number of altcoins in the circulation.

Yes instead of launching new projects which is just an updated version of existing projects the developers needs to work on existing projects and upgrade the same projects because it doesn't make sense to launch a new project every time they need new technology or missing link. Already investors and users have stopped believing in new projects as they think it's a scam by default due to past experience. I think either the developers need to upgrade the project or else the come up with a new project based on the technology which is unique and different from the existing ones.
The ideas that are coming are the same so there's really no need for investors to watch for the upcoming ones. It's hard to restore the faith of the investors if many of them were frustrated and lost money due to this.
many altcoins that exist in the same areas are justified by the fact that now it is not clear which coins can actually develop in the future. competition is constantly growing because old projects begin to face development difficulties and cannot solve them. at this moment, smart people create new projects and become better than old ones. this will happen until a universal project will be created
All are expecting secure altcoin, but it is not a simple task so once it is secure we need regulation and legalization of the government, so automatically it is is centralised currency. The best solution doesn't exist, so teams keep digging. At the end, it is all about the financial revolution and competition.
I think a good rating system will sort most of the problems out. If we have things like that, and it's very effective, fast, with little to no biases, it will help many sites list those with reasonable scores and avoid the scams. And it will also help investors avoid scams.

Actually there are still many blockchain technologies that we need currently in various aspects of life. However, there is no company that really creates technology without bringing new altcoin to adopt it.
I think, existing altcoins can be implemented into it as their financial system. It can even determine the best altcoin on the marketcap list to allow faster mass adoption.

Exactly, selecting a good project will help us to grow more rather than expecting something from shit projects. As most of the Investors have already lost faith in new project lts better to focus on some unique projects like ETH, XRP, TRON etc. In my perspective the duplicate project will remain in this crypto forum forever, we have to be careful and select a valid one to safeguard ourself.
There are already enough altcoins in the market which most of them dont even have a usecase. Most of their founders doesn't work on usecase but after price and making profits. There are many dirty games and manipulations between token projects and exchanges. Reason why it's hard for crypto to gain recognition and approval.

one of them must have the unique feature that make it difference with the duplicate. not all same concept projects were bad, they could cover the weakness each other . if we found this projects maybe we must choose one of them that have active developers which is regularly send an update about product developtment.

Market is already saturated with many projects that will solved existing economic and social problems. Maybe some of them really did help specially in the pharmaceuticals or in drugs/medicine industry, but still there are a lot that needs to be desire.I guess the basics, water and electricity conservations/consumptions, projects that can help and save lives in continents like Asia and Africa. As for the duplicate project, yes it's true some are just copy cat and didn't offer anything new in the table.

It's true that we do have a lot of different altcoins that are all aiming for the same often narrow target audience, but I don't agree that we don't need more newer altcoins because innovations are constantly happening and the market weeds out unnecessary coins naturally. There's still plenty of interesting new developments happening in the altcoin world.
As for what specific new technologies are needed for altcoins, I can't personally come up with one off the top of my head. There's certainly plenty of areas that need improvement, though.

Actually we dont need new altcoin anymore it is already there the only thing we need to do is support and use it. There are already a lot of good altcoins like ETH, XLM. etc. If these blockchain gets more use cases it will benefit the rest of us. It just needs adoption. Some people create their own altcoin just to earn money and not to spread cryptocurrency adoption.
