Get a short term loan for the escrow to cover the goods he'll send to you.

Not an option. I do not have enough spare funds lying around (not to mention how long it would take to acquire the bitcoins).
I am willing to make a loan with US forum member though I guess to cover those funds.

I wish to send goods + bitcoins with another forum member who will send me other goods.
However this transaction is international and I need to have my goods received before I send mine so that I will minimize downtime.
I am willing to send bitcoins first in good faith, but my trade partner is worried that if he sends his goods, I may leave him short. I have 24 ebay feedback reputation (10 as seller).
I reside in the US and willing to disclose personal information to all parties involved in order to demonstrate my willingness to complete this transaction with an honest intent.
Could anyone suggest options we could do?
