First of all, Excel is the most friendly sheet to monitor your trading transactions so its not stupid if you have one because I’m using this one too and I’m very effective on logging my trading and see if I made a good progress or not. You can use Blockfolio to monitor your holdings, this is also a big help if you’re far away from your laptop.
stupid because its manual and simple
ive see lots of very advanced file which ask 50$ per month,
im woking on a sheet to only calculate how coin i have and just check total $ but lots of time need
I’d rather use the free excel than to pay $50 a month since those sheet will matter through our own discipline so no matter what you’re using, if you don’t have discipline then it could be useless. I’m also using excel for quiet sometime now and its good for a medium to long term trader since you don’t nee to update it most of the time.

I don't record it and I don't have any sheet that I use for recording most of my trades.

But maybe this would help you, I just found it as I search. --> https://mindup.medium.com/free-crypto-portfolio-tracker-based-on-google-sheets-ef76070ec325

mm so how you know when you buy crypto the exact value of that crypto? your loses if you sell them now and growing percent Huh?
You lose if you sell them under the price you've bought it.

There's no rocket science of determining how much you've lost or gain upon selling, you have to put that in record how much you've bought it.

And knowing if the crypto you've bought has the exact value, there are price tickers that you can follow but prices of varies from exchange to exchange.

I know some more.

Warning!
  • If you use applications, make sure the device you use to install those applications don't have any of your cryptocurrency, wallets, etc.
  • Just in case and just a secondary preventive solution for your device and crypto.

You already used an Excel, I think it is enough in my opinion because you really don't need that much in terms of portfolio, it's just a record of your investment, I too use it myself and I don't find it that complicated.

Why suffer setting up spreadsheets, yet portfolio management apps can ease up things for you?

You just import your exchange API keys into the app and the rest will be sorted. Most of the apps do offer free tracking for limited accounts
A. Delta portfolio app
B. Bituniverse
C. coinstats.app
D. 3commas app

Hello
i have my own stupid excel file which is very simple, several column (date cur-name amount and ....) to track my total amount of coin and it will calculate some data,

first of all how you trade? write your investing on paper or use a excel ?
any free portfolio tracker google sheet ?
ive search this on google and find 2 online sheet but in general how you track your investing ?
Use Blockfolio. Ive been using this app for how many years on tracking out my investment or portfolio. It can alert you out on specific price that you are trying to aim for neither to sell or buy.

When it comes to convenience and accessibility then this one do fit out my needs and i dont really tend too hassle myself when it comes to those excels.

You can also make use with other apps which does have the same concept: https://alternativeto.net/software/blockfolio/

Same with me, I am also commonly in making some excel sheets on my computer so that I can check the portfolio of mine. However, it is not online and I cannot track my portfolio directly due to the high volatility of the market price. SO, I want to try also the recommendation from @BitMaxz.. Thanks

I actually use some apps and a free web portfolio tracker.

Here's the one that I used for Android
- Crypto Market Cap - Crypto tracker, Alerts, News = it's free and it also has news alert and portfolio
- Blockfolio = Never used them but it's also a good app for tracking portfolio.

For web portfolio and sheets
- https://cointracking.info/ = This is the best tool you can also download the sheet in a CSV file that you can open through a Google spreadsheet or any similar software.
Or manually make own data sheet by following their guide from here "Cointracking.info data in Excel & Googlesheets using Cryptosheets"

- Coingecko Portfolio = Its free but you must be registered. They don't have a sheet but it's also good for tracking portfolios. They also support Android.
- Coinmarketcap Portfolio tracker = same as Coingecko but it has better UI.

All free crypto portfolio tracker templates can be found here https://cryptosheets.com/templates They also have paid templates but the free is enough to start tracking your crypto.

For traders and investors who have good management and are resilient in managing their investments, this can be done by recording them on several papers and evaluating the average results that can be obtained based on the specified timeframe.

but rarely do we do this, we pay more attention to the transaction history in the portfolio and calculate the amount of income there. the rest I do not have notes like the one you reviewed above.
