I ended up having great results with a Corsair 850TX and a 450 watt ePower Juicebox.  Have all 4 cards running great with overclocks.

I have the system, and 3 of the HD5850's powered with a 850 watt PSU with a single massive 12v rail. Heres a link where I got it for about $134 bucks:

and I have added this in to power the HD5870. THe one I have is similar, but I cant find it available anywhere, so this one is almost exactly like it. These things make added some extra power to your system easy.  Fits in a 5.25" bay and has all the adapters to connect it to your system and complete grounding and stuff:

I like the Silverstone Zeus ZM1200Ms, but they're not cheap.

I'm running 4x 5830s oc'd on a Thermaltake TPX-775M  64a@12v,  pulling 660w.   Tigerdirect has them for 70 after rebate.

Corsair 850TX might work but don't bet on it, XFX 850W Pro Core will work I think. Otherwise you'd be looking into much higher power PSUs, and terrible value for money. I'd suggest staying with the PSU you have now, and getting a cheap additional 400W to power two cards. Unless of course you're looking to expand operations in the near future and would like to keep your current psu for that, then go for the XFX. Here in Europe its about 100 euros, I think I saw it on Newegg for 139.99 at some point.

Hey everyone,  I just picked up a HD5870 and was going to add it to my current rig... well this 5870 was asking a little much from the PSU and it cant power it and the other 3 GPU's. The one I have powered the 3 5850's great, but this 5870 puts it over its limit Sad So, I am asking for your advice on a good PSU.
Heres my setup:

Sempron 140 proc
2.5" laptop 5400 sata drive
3 Sapphire HD5850 (would like to overclock them to around 900 core, 300 ram)
1 gigabyte HD5870 (would like to overclock it as well to somewhere around 950 core, 350 ram)
I also have an ePower 420 watt "juice box" that supplies power to GPU's but I dont think I trust it with more than 1 GPU. Maybe powering 2 of the 5850's it might be ok.

My case has 2 120mm fans in it.

Please give me some good suggestions to power this beast, and allow me to overclock my GPU's for maximum mining effeciency.

Thanks in advance!
