Oh, I misread that, I thought they were 1X to 16X, um I would prefer to not have to modify them and since the rig im building is going in my buddies house who is kind of paranoid about things catching fire, I would prefer to not have to saw the thing up to get it to fit.

You don't need 1X to 16X if it's for a GPU. You need to saw one side of the riser to fit the 16X slot.
