I think the majority of people on this forum can answer yes to more than five of those questions. We all need help but that's why we are here! Without crypto addicts this forum will be empty so i'm glad that we are all addicted to crypto

Is this cryptocurrency business is something like a drugs? I don't think that cryptocurrency business is something forms a virus that makes people become addicted on cryptocurrency business, and for my own information, cryptocurrency business help those hopeless people in terms of financial stability, and I'm one of those people interested to become stable in life with enough money. And I don't need any medicine to cure my effort of accessing crypto business.
Addiction is something that causes a person to lose control, everyone can get addicted "about anything"  like addiction to drugs, food, work, playing video games, alcohol, sports, and shopping. does not rule out the possibility cryptocurrency can make someone addicted.

Well I discovered lately I'm getting used to cryptocurrency than ever and me and friends discussed it so much that we hardly talk about other things but I'm not sure if addicted or not and at the same time it's not disturbing anything in my world every other things going on fine I just know devoting enough time to crypto isn't bad it can only pay off if you're not greedy or gullible so that you don't get burnt

I have long said that soon the profession of a psychotherapist in cryptocurrencies will become a very popular profession. Smiley
I myself sometimes think that my addict is developing. And this has already come to life - 6 points are with the answer "YES".... Oh, my God. Now you can not laugh.
But I took the first step. I recognized that I am addicted. And this is half the success.  Tongue Cool
No wonder sooner we will find in service section promoting their professions as psychologists or psychotherapist accepting payments in bitcoin or ethereum lol.

But we cant deny that most of our answer in those question is YES agree?😂😂😂

I don't need a healing in a job that put on my table. I prefer to be addicted to crypto trading that will give me a financial freedom than be addicted to my daily job forever
I think that participating in the electronic money market is not an addiction because most financial markets attract a lot of investors and if possible addicts Both traders are addicted because they spend a lot of time on the financial markets they invest in. Organize your work hours in a scientific way to work and stay healthy.

I mean it's easy to call someone an addict but unless it's really negatively affecting your life it's not fair to assume it's a bad thing.

For me, my girlfriend knows I enjoy reading up about it, and trying some day trading. I do get excited when I make a really nice trade, and I do get stressed when I end up losing money. However, I look at it more as a hobby than an addiction. I don't play video games, and I don't read books often. I'm usually pretty busy with school and work, and do stay active by going to the gym, biking, etc. Crypto being available 24/7 makes it easy for me to just pick it up and do something whenever I have free time.

Yeah I do take it to the extreme, I have stayed up real late and I do check it at work often (I'm actually at work right now), but if I was super into anything else, such as video games, I'd still be reading forums and tips about the game I was playing. And I'd obviously be up late playing it.

I think the ease and the availability of crypto makes it way too easy for someone to get overly invested in it. It takes a second to look at your portfolio while you have nothing else to do, and the market never closes so it's there for you to trade whenever you want. People with addictive personalities like me are obviously going to take it a bit too far, but to fix it you'd have to look more into the root cause of the addictive personality instead of just focusing on the addiction to cryptocurrency.

This is a very cool way of being addicted since you can earn a lot of money just like those people who are workaholics they are addicted to their work and they can earn more money for their family. I don't see any problem being addicted to crypto as long as you won't steal money from others for you to buy those cryptos that you love to invest. This is so absurd. Grin

Did not expect that they are planning to open a hospital like this, maybe some people are addicted to crypto like people being addicted to casinos so the person behind this program predicted that to happen, I'm just a beginner in crypto trading but almost my time is consumed in crypto now do I need to worry?

Hey Crypto Addicts Grin  Grin

A hospital in Scotland is believed to be the first to open a treatment centre for people addicted to trading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
Castle Craig Hospital in Peeblesshire has taken the step of creating a residential treatment course for ‘crypto addicts

So how do you know if you are addicted? According to Castle Craig, answering yes to five or more of the following 9 questions makes you a pathological cryptocurrency addict.

1.Do I spend a lot of time thinking about different types of cryptocurrency?
2.Am I spending large amounts on cryptocurrency?
3.Have I tried to slow down or completely stop cryptocurrency trading — but not been able to?
4.Do I become restless or irritable if I try to cut down my screen time related to cryptocurrency?
5.Do I jump on the computer and start trading in cryptocurrency to escape from life’s problems or to try to elevate my mood?
6.Do I carry on trading in cryptocurrency after losing money — to try to gain it back?
7.Have I ever fibbed to other people about how much time or money I spend trading in cryptocurrency? Have I ever taken money unlawfully to fund my cryptocurrency addiction?
8.Has my cryptocurrency trading habit had an effect on my relationships or my job?
9.Do I try to get other people to lend me money when I have lost on investment?

If you have answered ‘yes’

Just once – may be a problem – this one thing may be enough of a problem to need help.
Three times – Addicted to cryptocurrency – your cryptocurrency trading habit probably feels out of control – think about getting help.
Five or more times – Pathological cryptocurrency addict – your cryptocurrency trading habit is probably affecting every part of your life – seek help.

I have answered yes more than five times  Grin Grin
