the only screenshots i have of the receipts don't have date in them so cant tell if its from 2014 or 2017.
Do you have crypto addresses, txids or even (exact) amounts on the receipts? If so, you might be able to find the transaction on their respective blockchain (and get the exact timestamp).

Hi, So i want to do my crypto taxes. But i lost access to my email and the only screenshots i have of the receipts don't have date in them so cant tell if its from 2014 or 2017.
I exchanged lots of coins 1. Dogecoin to BTC, 2. BTC to Monero
Today they're worth more then they were. So if anyone has shapeshift email receipts from 2014-15, please reply to this topic or dm me.
