Definatly won't sell the FPGAs, those are trade-in units.  I guess it's alot like selling futures contract that i placed months ago.  To be honest i expected more than 2k per unit.  If that's the case i will likely just be hosting them, thx for the advice.  And btw technically I am not that new of a member, just don't post that often.

thx for the advice.

Just sell the FPGAs.  You'll have no problem moving those.

When (if) trade-in time comes, just say "Oops, I don't haz them anymore.  I guess I'll have to pay the difference to keep my orders."

First piece of advice is posting this somewhere else if you are only entertaining the idea of selling.

Smiley Ok I'll quit being a dick now. Anyways, ever thought of selling mining shares?

And I will agree with ^, you are gonna have to escrow.

The problem with these orders is that you'll be selling the FPGA to someone (which you can do now), and then they'll be paying you some amount of money and will have to trust you to 1) get the FPGA unit back from them, 2) mail in that FPGA unit for them, 3) trust you'll give them back the ASIC when it arrives.

That's a lot of trust you've got to build up, unless you're willing to escrow long term, but with BTC changing price as crazy as its been, you could start the sale expecting $2000, but only get $100 in BTC of the price plummets. It's a risk you got to consider, given that you are relatively new here.

Perhaps give some more details on this issue and you may get a few more interested parties.

I have 12 piece bfl orders in 27xx ordered 2 is paid for in early july and 10 is paid for on august 11th.  They are the 60Gh/s units

was wondering what prices I can get for these orders.  They are trade in orders as I have 12 fpga units on hand right now.
