Hello guys ,

Nice to see many Indians follow up with mining these days never thought it would be that big .

I am kinda newbie to this world .I got my first BTC by trading some things on some forums which was like 2yrs back when BTC was ~100USD and never thought it would be this huge .Now after longtime I started getting facinated about this mining again and started mining altcoins rather than actual BTC which is kinda impossible now a days .I have some doubts which would like you guys to help me out .

Mining BTC is still possible or impossible ? If yes How much would the equipment cost ?

I started mining CPU coins like PTS,Max Coins on azure but all from past few days .I had some trouble getting accounts ? Can they still be mined on any cloud service ?

I do have my rig with GTX 650Ti and AMD QuadCore Processor .I could mine only CPU coins on this rig and want to get my rig upgraded to mine other GPU and main stream coins like LTC . I am planning to get one HD 7950 or MSI R9 280x .Can you guys help me out with the brand like which one to go MSI or Gigabyte or Saphhire Would this matter ?

Thanks for spending sometime reading this thread.

Hi BitcoinGangsta,

Mining BTC is possible, but that would depend on the equipment that you use. The less expensive ones would give out lesser GH/s in comparison to the more expensive ones. Do check the profitability calculator to check which one makes more sense: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ (this would give you a rough estimate).

And +1 to GKG on the cloud mining bit. That's a good venture as well.

Do take a look at our mining category: http://highkart.com/mining-india

We have also slashed our prices so make the most of it, when you can Smiley

I would suggest you go for cloud mining bitcoins. its cheaper than buying any asic hardware where you'll have to wait for months before it gets delivered.
Even the scrypt mining profitability is very low these days. So only cloud mining contracts are advisable.

You can get some cheap 5year contracts for 0.0064BTC/Gh here pbmining.com for a price of R9 280x you could get 125 Gh here
Or you could use cex.io for lifetime contracts and you could also trade your Gh

Even buying some Altcoins can be more profitable now
