So I’m on forkdelta for the first time. I accidentally sent my eth to the fork delta smart contract by mistake. Hit the wrong button. Any way to recover it? What happens to my eth? Is it lost forever?

Maybe there is a chance to execute function calls against EtherDelta smart contract (ForkDelta is just a fork and as far as I know it uses EtherDelta smart contract and wallet). Go to Myetherwallet, click on "Contracts" and select the EtherDelta contract from the dropdown. You have to choose "Withdraw" and enter the amount (but the value is in Wei, so you have to put something like 550000000000000000 - I used this value for 0.55 ETH). This method worked for me when I wanted to withdraw my funds from EtherDelta during the period their website was hacked, so I`m not sure it works in your situation. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

The ForkDelta smart contract is just the smart contract used by ED, they are not yet split from etherdelta and they can't do anything about your lost ETH since they don't own anything from ED.

The only chance you have is to contact the ED support and hope they respond.

I'm sorry but there's no way to recover. You sent ETH to this address right? 0x8d12A197cB00D4747a1fe03395095ce2A5CC6819

You should import your ETH private key or create new account (address and private key) on ForkDelta and then send ETH to your own address, or you can simply import such address that already has ETH on it.
Then you Deposit ETH from your own address to ForkDelta contract. DEPOSIT, not just send transaction. If you DEPOSIT, ForkDelta will know that those Ethers belong to you, but if you don't use the deposit function and simply send transaction to ForkDelta, it will not know that Ethers belong to you.

I'm sorry if you already know all that, just wanted to make it clear.
ForkDelta does not have support team or anything like that, because it is a decentralised exchange, so I don't think you have any chances here.

You sent it to the main contract address? If so then your coins are lost. You can try to contact support for your coins.

What the, that is unrecoverable, because you have already sent it to their address fork delta is a dex or decentralized exchanges which there are less people running it,so i doubt there will be no one to answer your question not unlike that they will send it back to you which impossible,Just move on already you learned your lesson in a bad way.
