In the last few days, I was surprised by a notification on one of the crypto trading sites. there states that there will be tokens that are temporarily deleted due to being detected doing ponzi, or fraudulent transactions. even though on the token I already got a fairly large profit. as a result I was suddenly surprised after getting this information. fortunately at one point I didn't have the assets in the token.
let me say what token i'm talking about. (INMAX). maybe it's not just me who gets the information, everyone who invests there i think knows it too.

Perhaps more is the SCAM. it is the most appropriate word when we determine a coin to commit fraud or not.
Nowadays a lot of projects have a bad reputation level and we have to be careful in taking every decision.
when the coin experiences SCAM then it will harm everything and will only benefit one party only, that is the developers coin who is not responsible.

Just a small advice: look at ANN section and choose any "ICO" with:

- terrible website (much better if the website is down/broken)
- no markup at the first post / ugly fonts, broken images, typos etc.
- no whitepaper link
- no source code link
- no details about the team
- if you can  throw out the word 'crypto'/'blockchain' from project description and meaning will not change
- and my favorite "Coin is like X but better/faster/ killer of Bitcoin/Ethereum/etc" - no comments

As most of the scan ICO aren't backed by any registered company so no any government can regulate them or stop them from collecting funds in bitcoin and ethereum as both of those payment methods are anonymous.

I'm splitting the money between all of them with bigger investments in cryptoxchanger, davorcoin and gold rewards. I recommend gold rewards highly but you won't get the ICO price now. I doubt the 50-100 gains will be possible soon with so much competition.

This is really a serious issue. Investors are only interested in profits, companies are only interested in investments, exchanges are only interested in commissions and as a result hundreds of zero-utility, zero-value tokens are today trading on exchanges.
As per a reliable source, only 8% of ICOs started in 2017 are really developing what they promised before ICO. The biggest blame goes to greed-striken Crypto Investors like one in OP, who only care about profits no matter where their money is actually being used or no matter if they get scammed next very day.

Somebody somewhere should start regulating these ICOs to filter the scams,preventing people to be involve in such ICO shits.

While I wouldn't take part it, it would be interesting to do some data mining on previous coin Ponzis to build a classifier which predicts the shutdown date based on patterns of investment and payout (and other features).

Still wouldn't go for one though.  There are some ethical issues involved as you would be trying to game a system which is set up to steal from people.

Invest in Datum. High cap ($45million), no product or reasonable concept. Its a guarranteed money loss unless you're able to sell the tokens with profit short term since long term, I can promise you this, the project will fail immensely. It sounds like a cool idea untill you start getting into the details and notice they didn't really think about any details or problems encountered with their product/service. Its a pure greedy money grabbing ICO out to fill the pockets of its founders and leave investors dry with a worthless token that won't ever get used because of the ridiculous conditions set to use the service. At least thats my opinion. Enjoy!

Some of the issues with its service:

1. Inability to purchase data in bulk, making it a time consuming and high cost service without any conveinience
2. Needing to respect each individuals unique set terms & conditions on purchased data (which is virtually impossible and time consuming)
3. The speculative nature of the project with statements such as "Overwhelming user (individuals) demand might lead to Datum being implemented as the main protocol for data processing'' effectively creating a monopoly but that isn't the worst part. They assume that if people want Datum to be the main data processor this will come from a high user demand and forces lawmakers, governments to adapt to that (which will never ever happen).
4. People don't give a shit about their data privacy
5. No guarrantee it can protect data, it can protect data on its platform once you upload it sure. But if you use Facebook then Facebook will still have access to the data you created on Facebook and Datum becomes an obsolete party where you can basically upload that data again and hope that someone will purchase it. For a company it doesn't really make sense to use Datum at all.
6. To much focus on the data uploaders and no thought given to companies who purchase data, both parties are just as important in making this platform work but it seems Datum gave preference to the individuals ''needs'' and making companies adjust to that instead of finding middle ground.
