But you could ask the applicants to post their rates. Their expectations on an hourly basis or per project. It might help your client save some time. I assume there is a budget in place and he can't spend more (or much more) than he intended.
Money is often the deciding factor. Both sides would benefit if they knew what the position pays and what the developer expects to earn.
Yeah, just added in the code. Thanks for this information. The topic already served my purpose. Locking it.

The question about creating one or two threads has been solved, so no need to discuss that any further.

i think the service board is the easiest way or place someone can as we see it so easily and also come in contact with you, since the payment will be paid in bitcoin, so from my own point of views dropping it here will bring so many discussion, so as you said the thread is already in service board  i think is more preferable and easy access to locate.
I think so too since the developer will be paid in btc but there are two payments which is in btc and in alt. Having two threads won't hurt since it is in different board like services and service discussion (altcoin) and then put the link of the thread to make it easier to redirect in both thread where the links are posted in each thread.

Thanks guys! No more doubt. I already created another topic in the service section. I could just copy and paste, but I thought quoting the altcoin topic would look better.

I will be locking this topic in a few hours.

You can and you should.

I've highlighted the relevant part from the forum rules that help clear the doubt.

It's simple. Whichever service will be paid in bitcoin goes to the bitcoin's subforum and whichever service will be paid in altcoins goes to the altcoins' subforum. Since you have one service, but want to be paid separately, you need two threads.

One in Services and the other in Service Discussion (Altcoins).

If your transaction involves bitcoin, the bitcoin marketplace section would be appropriate. If your transaction does not involve bitcoin, the thread needs to be located in the altcoin marketplace.

If you are hiring someone to develop something, and are paying in bitcoin, the appropriate section is services

I have created a thread in Service Discussion (Altcoins) as I need an altcoin developer. It seems it is perfect in that board. However, the developer will be paid in BTC (my client prefers) which means we (let's say me and my client) we are asking for a service and will be paid in BTC.

Can I make another thread in the Service section considering the payment form? I think two threads are fine as long as one is paying in BTC and another is paying in ALT.
