You don't need to 'connect your computers together'. All you need to do is download some mining software on both, join a pool, and point the mining software at the pool.
Mining is the act of attempting to 'discover' bitcoins by doing something computationally hard. Generating bitcoins is considered mining, but there are better programs to use than the client. Again, look at the beginner's guide.
Ok,thats good.I'm used to running apps that require connecting 2 computers together via Apple's Qmaster or some other thing. As for joining a pool, how can I go about this?(unless that guide covers it)
At least I don't have to worry about connecting my 2 computers together then as this is sorted out by joining the pools instead.Thanks. Is there a client that can fully utilise both GPU and CPU at the same time?
Also how long should i expect to wait b4 recieving my bitcoins as both my comps have computed over 150000 bloks approx yet still no sign of the bitcoins.
Thank you so far
P.S.can u plz link me to the beginners guide as I cant really find it easily? (cus Im new to this)
