If you are stuck with a budget for each card of US$150-230 then you would need to use GTX 1060 6GB for best results.
With a bigger budget of US$320-360 you could get into GTX 1070's which can provide better $/watt

You can mine US$2+ per day with a 1060 6GB, mining mostly Equihash (ZEC, ZCL, ZDASH) or maybe a Lyra2REv2 coin (VTC, MONA)

Check on the whattomine.com website for a detailed breakdown of each coin and it's profitability:

Hello friends.

I have to construct a small (means low priced) ( it's not correct to say small ) The farm I mastering is large.
It's set above a really free electricity in tram park (currently I have to use 10 gWatt/months)
So the harware I need for today, seem so to be cheap and as the Nvidia's units I may buy (or you may sell me),
that's all GPU's, as I may describe as folow -

Unit's price is about 150-230 USD and it returns from 1 to 2 USD/Day
Algos and coins, also have fluctations with this GPU's - you may send me as your statistics.

I'm asking a professionals too, that have to upgrade their farming, those who calculate a profits,
those, who knew how to set multialgo mining for profits, without have to use "web most profitable services" which
eats out your profit but makes operations easy, pointing a withdrawals on simple wallet.

I'm asking also, those, who analyze new GPU algos, where the profit seems to be only in "pump" of crypto, certainly, such deep understanding comes only, when you're talking with trusted coin or asset developer.

I'm waiting for hardware snaps from you.
