if your budget is 400k to 2 mil USD
I suggest you pay 10$-20$ bounty and get a full report from people who are mining already
asking public opinion on where in the world to set up your 2.000.000$ mining
is like asking which coin should I buy on an exchange chat Smiley

I definitely advocate your idea, if the author want to buy plenty miners and build well working mining farm then definitely should have make a particular research. The question is also where do you live, because in one country the the price of domestic electricity may has different prices?
You could also try to make the whole project more usefull and relate it with other due to give them some hot air or something like that.

Don't do it. I can see that you have no idea what you're putting your money into. Mining is not for newbies, but people who like to tinker, people who will set it all up themselves.
If you need to call the electrician to extend the wiring and and a technician to install an exhaust fan on the roof you will definitely lose money. Buy Bitcoin, you will do much better.

I agree with this suggestion. To make mining profitable you have to be an expert in that kind of thing. Also if you are going to operate 1,000 Antminers you have to put all your time and energy into this, 24/7. Are you really ready for this journey? Buying Bitcoins, on the other hand, is easy and most likely will make you profit in the long run. Furthermore, buying BTC you are helping Bitcoin community no less than when mining.

Hi, everyone! I want to create a mining farm.

Antminer s9 is currently out of stock so i'm planning to get the t9.

I did all the research and computation. I won't earn because of electricity consumption. I will even lose.

So i'm planning to buy 1,000 Antminers. My question is:

Where in the world I could set this up without having to pay big on electricity.

Second, is the t9 good alternative to the s9. 11,500 GH/s.

Do you have any tips for me on mining?

Please, help me guys.

Or if you have any suggestion where I can boost some money with bitcoin please tell do tell me.

My budget: 400,000 usd - 2,000,000 usd

Thanks!

If you are inexperienced at large-scale mining, it may be wise to partner up with an experienced and established mining company to reduce your risk. The best place to set the project up in the world as far as I know is Iceland or the Chinese Himalayas. Both places have good electricity prices and a cold climate for cooling the miners.

If you contact with Bitmain to buy 1.000 miners, i suppose that they will offer you the possibility of installing them on its new Xinjiang farm (they said that will be open to third users). Also they have experience and sure they will have low electricity prices.

Contact bitmain directly , you going to get some discount on 1000 miners for sure Smiley
You need to build a complete farm for your 1000 miners , i mean buildings , and all the electrical requirements, air filtering , air cooling, security , fiber optic internet ...

You going to need a person on site with knowledge about mining , network troubleshooting , pdu trouble shooting .
If you have that money , all this can not be a problem for you !

Or ... Find a hosting company , who can host 1000 miners for you , this way you dont have to invest into a building ...ect

Make sure you know your local tax requirement about mining income , import taxes ..
You need to find a place , country with low electricity rate .

Im not sure what country are you from.

If you decide to go into this business , and you need a person you can trust , and you going to pay the right amount of money for your future employee , i would be happy to work for you Wink

Bitcoin is the future , but is still a risky business Smiley

I do agreed with you dude, putting a mining farm is really not good for a newbies. Especially with that big amount of investment, wow! that's not a joke man. And one more thing be careful to whom you are talking too, for you to avoid the victim of a scammer. Much better for you to invest in bitcoin or buy some legit altcoin that has a promising project.

1000 miners setup to a remote location would require a lot of maintenance. Unless you plan to hire people to look after them, this won't be possible.
That makes it even harder to turn a profit.

ehm it's not only about electricity, you need to factor the stucture on which you will put this miner, usually big farm build a dedicated one which isn't free, with all the conditioners electricit circuit etc..

there is a huge capital to invest there first, i think someone that want to go that big suddenly, better off going to buy bitcoin directly, you will remove many hassles...

It would help if you would give an indication of what part of the world you are in - or better yet, look up the multiple "price of electric" threads that already exist.
