What do you think about this? https://icoholder.com/ru/nel-25396 ... 5 members of team was VERIFIED - Evan Devis, REnato ITO, Hans Muller, Andrew Busby, and Ayato Ishida. I saw this today... Why IcoHolder.com verified this members?
They are not verifying anyone, please click on reference link in one of their many accounts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1362095

Follow the links. You will get the picture. Only thing you need to verify team member is to click "verify" button and to link linkedin profile to icoholder. Stop blindly trusting these ICO-rating sites.

ICOHolder verification system is not reliable. They verify almost everything, stock photos, no photos, and I think I saw a cartoon character verified once.

They're not verifying at all, I guess. Just change the code when they got paid. No wonder many scams ICO use their site.

It's better to do a reverse image search rather than using ICOHolder (or any ICO review site).

Verified @ ICOHOLDER means absolutely nothing, you can find countless examples in this section alone, where fake identities are being marked as verified.

but no one has been scammed
I wonder why.

If you want to discuss about your reputation open thread in proper board. I won't discuss this here any further and I definitely won't discuss this via PM.

Actually, I did the researchs about the project. But the linkedin accounts seem extremely well done.
Extremely well done....plagiarism. You can google their resume.
I can now see that my investigations have not been pushed enough, I will be able to learn from my mistakes and something like this will never happen again.

I pledge to make further investigations next time.
You said that last time when you promoted something which was obvious ponzi. I gave you benefit of doubt back then. I ain't gonna do it twice.
I can understand your point of view, ICO scams are everywhere nowadays, but no one has been scammed, and I still ask you for a second third chance, this time ensuring that you will never hear about me again on a shady or scam ICO. Looking forward to hear from you.

I am not sure because they usually make the same excuses, it is either "we are anonymous, satoshi was anonymous too", "we are not scam, people say bitcoin is scam, is it scam?" or "thanks for pointing that our hired team members have fake pictures, we fired them"  Roll Eyes

About pictures, where did you find gray photo? From which ICO is it? To be honest it doesn't look like person on right photo. There are certain similarities, I really can't say my opinion without seeing photo in color.

This is second third bounty managed by you and exposed by other people (hashkon, ethconnect).

Call me crazy, but i find nel.network writing style to be very similar to Hashkon. Would appreciate a second opinion on this.

Hi, thanks for your investigations, I will redirect them (or redirect him?) to your thread and I intend to close the bounty if they have no explanation to provide.

I believe 2 months ago you said exactly this:

Hi, thanks for your investigations, I will redirect them (or redirect him?) to your thread and I intend to close the bounty if they have no explanation to provide.

THANK YOU. Finally, someone mentions the bounty manager. I'm sorry, but if your job is managing bounties and you advertise yourself as "trustworthy" then shouldn't you do a bit of research on the projects you accept?

A lot of people frequent this board and it's your duty to vet projects you accept if you want to be "reputable and trustworthy".But, if you want to become an accomplice to scam, you're on a good path.

Thanks for your initial reaction. As well they are running bounty by themselves , we should tagged them by the way. Tagged by me , need DT action. Stealing other people's identity isn't good practise.

Regarding this matter, we have already checked with the international team members and some of them used fake pictures for personal reasons without informing us.

Did the rest of your non-fake team copied their LinkedIn profile descriptions for personal reasons too?

We consider this is a serious matter and it is not tolerated by the core team. We might take legal actions against them because it is a threat to our project and to the integrity of the team.

How about we take legal actions against your scammy little project? How's that sound?

Nel.network has removed Kinari Ota and Arata Kimura from their team list, but this does not alleviate my doubts about them. Some of them used fake pictures is obviously not a reasonable reason, if it is a real Project, why can't even fake pictures be verified?
Doubts about this project more and more. The project NEW.network has a new bounty theme https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bounty-nelnetwork-microfinance-platform-1000000-fixed-pool-5027551. But I haven't found statements from Woshib that it no longer provides management of the project.

Hello,

Regarding this matter, we have already checked with the international team members and some of them used fake pictures for personal reasons without informing us.
We consider this is a serious matter and it is not tolerated by the core team. We might take legal actions against them because it is a threat to our project and to the integrity of the team.

The core team has created this project and some international team members joined us afterwards. We decided to exclude the involved members from the team and to investigate further about the other international members.

We have long term goals and we plan to build and maintain the trust from the community and partners.

We understand the accusations but the project is real and will be executed as detailed on our roadmap.

Core Team

Thank you for your response, but your response is not an evidence to make us and the community believe it is true. You failed to verify your team members before start an ICO asking money from investors. We didn't research your entire team. Just those members that were listed with a fake identity. Please provide valid evidence that your team is real:
- a video with all the members of your team - it can be a group or individual.
- individual or group photos of your team holding a newspaper of the day with 3 different angles.

At the very least, you should inform all the people interested in your project through your social media accounts about the current unpleasant situation. And also, as said above, a video explanation of these reasons would be a powerful addition.

Your response sounds similar to this one here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/one-fundio-scam-fake-team-5026099, same story, same mistake. Why don't create a video explaining the situation, "core team"?

Looks like their bounty is managed by a trusted/high rank member.

edit.

They have taken most of the pictures down, as well as their linkedin profiles.

I found one though, he does look Chinese rather than Japanese.
