Well for me whatever people says about negative or positive on NEO the only thing I will say I really believe on NEO every time it will go dip I will buy more and more and hold until 5 years because NEO is really amazing team,projects,roadmaps,technology, and community. I believe that NEO will be huge on the coming years.

They have a good and super active team behind NEO, hence I am not too concerned of any bug that is discovered. NEO is still very young and any faults can be much more easily fixed than the more established coins that needs to maintain massive backward compatibility and consensus.
NEO is atm still relatively centralized, which allows them to easily fix issues and bugs. And once everything is more polished, they do aim to decentralize the network.
Same with coins such as NANO and IOTA etc, that is still relying on centralized servers atm, and will start to decentralize as the user grows sufficiently to support the network.
I am definately injecting more into NEO gradually the more its temp price drop due to FUD.

Poidee for the NEO future of Asia, as all of Asia, Korea, China, will be tied to it,it's like Air, only for Asia,so definitely the potential is huge,the more there is a market more powerful and alive than in Europe!If they do everything as planned, there will be a second ETH, only maybe steeper
NEO is really a good and potential coin. I don't believe in these "news", because they are very similar to deception. This is an unsuccessful attempt to manipulate the price of NEO. But NEO must be improved in order to continue the growth.
I am confident that this issue will address soon. Chinese won't let this issue drag them down. It is normal for a new altcoin to have a bug in early stage and I'm sure that the dev is now busy doing the patch to solve the problem.
stay patient and do not rush assume bad to neo. sometimes rivalry becomes the trigger of hostility between communities.

i have been watching neo,and have some coins in my folio,but this issue must be addressed and should have some actions from the dev,imagine how many expectant of those tokens that now are disappointing..and in time might divert their funds to other platform as problem occurred this great coin NEO is best platfrom but can not sent less than 1 NEO, so i think this is problem when price grown up!

I agree the volatility is large. I also think that the Chinese will not allow drawdown, and will try to correct this misunderstanding as soon as possible. And such news is likely the machinations of competitors.
Every coin has its own ups and down. Even Bitcoin and Ethereum face a very difficult problem and it get fix. I believe the developers of NEO can fix and do something about it. There are many Companies that invest to NEO and I think they cannot afford to lose them and their credibility.
I may agree, if the above article is true, then Neo coin should have do something how to correct the situation. Going back to its current market trend for Neo, you can personally observe that the graphical price chart indicates a downward trend which I may believe that the message might be true. A drastic resolution should be made to cope up the trust of the many people investing in Neo such that it may change the downward trend back on it's track going up.

As I haven't really investigated NEO I can't say if it's FUD or not. But one thing is for sure NEO won't go easily, if this is the real threat I am sure devs will try to update something in future as this is serious flaw then.
Neo exists to produce gas and so far it is the major purpose of it and nothing else as gas from my understanding is used for everything there on the blockchcian.

Likely... But it could be possible that it's a real threat to NEO's future. If what the OP says is true, it could mean that there's a significant attached to NEO usage.
Until it's verified by reliable sources, I'd not take it too seriously though. NEO isn't that special anyways, so just avoiding it shouldn't be too hard.

It is very similar. I remember bad news about crypto which was much, but they weren't confirmed.

Hmm well we need more inputs by more developers with experience with NEO's blockchain build " Byzantine fault tolerant". With the information from more and more developers we can conclude that NEO's blockchain is a true on what they claim

Neo is the 6th largest cryptocurrency with $7.8 billion valuation, but it's no better than ripple. it uses a delegated byzantine fault tolerant consensus algorithm. neo holders elect a set of nodes to be in charge of the consensus process. currently that's just the 7 nodes run by the neo foundation.
being tolerant to byzantine failures means not only being able to handle node failures like network outages, but rather any type of malicious behavior. the most simple approach (used in neo) is to use a round-robin signature scheme where each validator signs a block and hands it to the next validator.
it doesn't take a computer science degree to realize that such appoach is susceptible to deadlock if one of the nodes goes down. a simple solution for this is to use a threshold scheme where all the nodes broadcast their signatures that needs to be tallied up to certain threshold instead of waiting for specific turn.
malcom lerider, a senior r&d manager for neo, called this failure an edge case, but let's call it what it is. neo can't handle a simple network failure is not even fault tolerant, it's a failed system.
thankfully, no one uses neo as there is only 23 smart contracts deployed on the network. hope it stays that way.
