In creating NEO wallet first go to neotracker.io then click new wallet to create, save your neo private key and secure it then if you want just download the json file that is on the screen. there are many sites that you can create neo wallet but i prefer to you the neotracker.io.

NEONwallet would be great. I used it for weeks now but before that I was just holding my NEO on binance. It does the same thing anyway, binance will still distribute the GAS earned by holding NEO. But then of course you can't use the NEO wallet in case you have to invest to some tokens using NEO like Bizshake which something I'm watching whether its going to be profitable.

If you don't want to go as far as downloading the NEO blockchain to your local storage then pick a lite wallet. I have been using the NEON one for a while, it is fairly basic but they release regular updates and its quite easy to use. https://neonwallet.com/
