Earlier, Nepal was the only Hindu country in the world. The Maoist-led government changed it to a secular state, under influence from the powerful Christian lobby. Now there is a lot of support in Nepal to change the secular status back to the officially Hindu state. However, as per the current constitution, Nepal will remain as a secular country.
Nepal, a small landlocked country in Asia is drafting a long waited constitution today. As the constitution is being implemented, some minor racial/ethnic groups are using violence demanding ethnic states (the way they want) and for special privilege over each other. How is the world viewing current situation of the country?
