Yo thanks for all replies, it's still not working, though. How to enable the 4g thing? This is fucked. I am using windows 10 pro.

In the BIOS.
But first check if you are running the newest BIOS version.
If not, update.

I had simmilar problem on my rig.

To fix this issue you need:
1. Install only Windows 10 with 1 card connected.
2. Install all drivers.
3. Connect all yuor cards.
4. Enable 4G encoding.
5. Select Gen2 instead of Auto in all BIOS Settings.

Another important question: What version of Windows are you using? Windows 7 tends to be more of a pain than Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10.

This is 5th card, taking up slot GPU 2. Replaced riser, nothing. Dont have a clue though if 6 pin connected well, going to take a look now, will update. MOBO Z17 M7

That same questions appear about twice per week at least. The answer is the same: update the MoBo BIOS to the latest version, enable 4G encoding and in 99% of cases it will help

Remove all risers, plug only this "problem" card directly in x16 slot. If still code 43, time to RMA.

oh man, that could be SO many things :/
I have seen error code 43 for:

Bad riser
Riser not connected right
Too many display adapters in windows
Too many IRQ resources taken up (usually a USB device)
One time i even had error 43 as i had forgot to plug in one of the 6 pins on the card! Cheesy

Check everything, switch out the riser, you likely just have a simple error somewhere
