I see no difference, It's all the same mate, so why complicate things when we can still call the new highest price the All-Time High (ATH) price?
No difference really, except when there is a NEW ATH a few times in one day!
"Did you see the ATH today of $30,000?"
"Yes but there is a NEW ATH, $32,674!"
The concept of breaking the ATH barrier is because we have not seen any reaching these levels since 2017, so many beginners here have not heard of these levels.
Bitcoin has continued to break many barriers since 2010 until today, and therefore the concept of ATH barrier is what puts us in the level of long-term resistance, which if it is broken, we move a higher price level, for example, 300 to 1000 to 1000000, and so on to 100 thousand
Nope, bought my first BTC back in Jan 2017, I think it was 16th jan!
It was BTC0.01203243 and was a test to make sure I was buying/transferring etc properly!
It was about €10 back then, Today that same amount is €320 - The power of HODL
Until recently it was in its original wallet throughout the 2017 rise.
