THank you! That is what I am thinking too. I will just assign an address for each client that wants to use bitcoins. Keep it simple.

the downside to this is that you have to maintain that same wallet for the life of your business. when it grows to 500mb, and 99% of that is inactive customers, wouldn't it be nice to start a fresh wallet? starting a fresh wallet would be a lot easier if you didn't give customers permanent addresses. something to consider.

I prefer to seperate by group. Too many address will make you confuse.

I have one address for each merchant. You could also keep a log separately if you wanted more info, i suppose. I agree with the above poster; too many addresses will just get confusing.

I chose for a different address for each merchant but not for every payment. I think I would lose overview.

Would you prefer to have a same address from a merchant for payments that is linked to your account or a new address for each transaction?
