How much did you earn by TonicPow?
There are more than 100.000!!!!! URL shorteners! I hate them, and i guess everybody heard about those. They spam you with 10 ads in row, its a nightmare.
Its better for blogs and other sites, but url shorteners should be banned from forums ... You earn some cents/click, but nobody will click it who know about them.

Do you really think that we never heard about URL shortener as earning money possibility? Okay, I now heard for the first time about this tonicpow, but it is already a well-known micro earning way, mostly used by spammers (guess what your post looks like). although as far as I know, only the service owner takes money from there.

Exactly. Although link shorteners are very often used for passive income I personally almost never click directly on such links. Because of the very bad reputation of such links, it is much smarter to first check the link through some of the 'unshort' services. Better safe than sorry!
Rather, providing a long URL seems to be a much safer way.
