I think these big token figures is too give them high rank on the coinmarketcap.com, we all know how the marketcap was calculated and tokens not in top 100 most of the time are not taken serious

When more coins are distributed. People in our group think it is worth to buy those. As a result it is creates an artificial demand thereby creatign pump and dump scenario.

Guys like who got in late will be burnt.

Some coins offer billions to make them sound good but are eventually abandoned by the developer. Watch out for scams to avoid being left holding the bag

There are always new ICOs coming in and I am sure that loads of them have less then half a billion tokens. You can do some research and find out which ones at either

https://www.icoalert.com/

https://tokenmarket.net/ico-calendar

https://www.icocountdown.com/

Or the many more ICO websites that exist on the web. Wish you luck in finding your coins

So, I was checking cryptocompare.com as I always do, and have noticed that a lot of coins are offering billions lately. At first I never would have thought of investing on one of those alt coins, but it could be good to gain mass appeal for cryptocurrency (but I doubt these coins can reach BTC prices ... would be a dream as I have invested in a couple of those, but I doubt it will be doable).

Any recommendations for current altcoins or ICOs offering a lower amount of coins / tokens? (less than half a billion or even lower than that would be best) or any other page to check upcoming ICOs, etc). Thanks!
