Hi guys.
Now, i know this has nothing to do with the problem but im S3 user and i been using one s3 to testing with solar. So, i have 2 solar panels with mppt controller and 2 170Ah batteries. So i take two cables from the controller and connect them to S3, one cable each side. And from the wall i have two old psu as well connected to those two other connections. So i use all those 4 ports. With stock speed the S3 uses about 450w from the wall but with the solar On i take from the wall around 280w...isch. I lower the speed down to 175mhz and take from wall around 128w Cheesy

Are you still plugged in the laptop instead of the router? I'm curious and confused about this.

Sorry for not answering your question sooner. It just automaticly connected to Slush when I plugged the Cat5E cable into the router.

Ok. So, I've had some experience with bitcoin mining, currently running a ASICMiner Block Erupter USB in the background. But, I just can't seem to get my AntMiner S3+ to mine! I tried changing the protocol to DHCP, but it just gets hung up. I even tried changing pools to slush, then F2Pool, then GHash, but whatever I do, the fans don't start kicking up, and it does not mine. I think part of the problem might be that the AntMiner is plugged into this laptop VIA Ethernet, and not into the router, but I can't get the IP to load in the router. HELP!

You should be able to get S3 in same IP range of router and it should connect, or use DHCP and it grabs from most routers.   I would look at this more instead of using laptop.   You would need to turn on connection sharing with right settings (assuming windows) to be able to plug in ethernet and get connection via wireless.

But again I would work on IP.  Can you share a picture of network settings on S3+?  And also what range of IP addresses does your router use?

As I was writing a long post, it just started working for some reason. Thank you I guess?
