For how much did you buy Antminer X3? One guy tells me on Instagram about the new models from China for $ 1,300, but I think he is a fraud, too low a price for such a product...

If you have it already then the only thing you can do is to point it to mine Etn electroneum coin. Although the difficulty may seem high it is still profitable if you mine it with an Asic device and hold the coin.

Probably with the next spike of bitcoin all altcoins will spike too so you just have to wait. That is the best thing you can do with your X3 at the moment and until it lasts.

I just received a shipment of Antminer X3's.  I configured them to Antpool and they seem to be turning in work, but AntPool is not reporting the work.

Has anyone else had success setting them up?

Will the X3's work on XMR or do we need to collect XMC and just hope they eventually get listed on an Exchange or Marketplace?

Any current feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot mine XMR anymore with your X3, Monero is using CryptonightV7 algorithm now. You can mine some coins that still use the original Cryptonight algo (ETN, MSR, XUN, DERO,...) but almost all of them are forking away soon (I heard KARBO is planning to not fork but who knows).

Basically what you have as X3 is just a paperweight.

MASARI has announced forking to CryptonightV7 at block  170 000, so it also becomes not possible for mining with the X3.

It's gonna be hard hearing this, but you essentially have a nearly worthless piece of junk. Due to the ASICS overtaking the Monero network, they did a fork and changed their algorithm to CryptonightV7. The X3 can only mine coins on the Cryptonight algorithm meaning you could only mine Monero Classic, which is basically worthless. You can try mining other Cryptonight altcoins as well but the difficulty for those are extremely high as well.

I would highly suggest not buying ASICS (with the exception of Bitcoin ASICS) as typically by the time Bitmain actually ships you the product the difficulty is already far too high for profitability (or in this case a complete change in algorithm). I

Well, in theory you can do that.
In reality, XMC is now at 6 $ and the total volume/day is 1200 $.  I don't know the difficulty
