I don't understand why that light assault rifle needs bipod at all. It is additional weight on the rifle in close combat. Heavy barrel versions of rifle round calibers - it makes sense, but not on intermediate cartridge assault rifle.

'Cause when you're shooting prairie dogs at distance, you need to be a little more steady than my hands will allow. Smiley

I use mine to hunt not kick doors in. I could use a nice pod from time to time.

i guess you dont live in canada then. It is forbidden to use an ar15 for hunting here.
You can only use it to "kick in doors"? Why would they make a law like that?

I was going to get an ACOG or an EOtech, but I have been very pleased with the strikefire.

This grip looks like it would hold all of my attachments, and give me a bi-pod when i want to get down and dirty on the ground. I don't like having a clunky bi-pod attached to my AR. This thing looks like it would solve all of my problems, and not get in the way of my attachments. I'm going to buy one.

This post is definitely off topic! Rifle fans will like it though.

I was stumbling gun sites this morning and came across this website for AR15's. I love my AR so it interested me. It had a post of some guy who made a grip for the carbine model of the AR that has an integrated Bi-Pod that conceals itself away within the grip making it completely hidden. It also includes quad rails on the top and sides for your attachments. Pretty slick! It's called the SiRip.

Sign me up! I want one!
