No more powered risers?

You still need powered risers for the 1x. cause I remember 1x can't supply the 75 watt needed right?

Did you fail to notice the two Molex connectors designed to bring extra power to the PCI-E slots? This board is DESIGNED for that kind of load.

1x can't transfer the 75watt power, so even if there is molex it would be useless..

Apparently you've never used a 1x unpowered riser before. It does work.

Here at Micro Center, we are looking to carry this. We reached out to them over the weekend. It is perfect for alt-coins with powered risers. I may pick one up myself. I have a ton of cards collecting dust.

It is a good thing but not for Bitcoin mining, maybe I will buy some if its cheap for Litecoin purposes...

I guess they are late for the bitcoin bandwagon , although still useful for script coins. It is good to see that more people/companies turn their heads to bitcoin.
