These TB250 boards are in very short supply to the united states right now.  Just doing our first large scale deployment with these boards after some initial testing as we finally had to move off the LGA 1150 boards.  As far as the AM4 boards the price will need to come down on the CPU pricing side to make those mobo and cpu combos cost effective.

I doubt AM4 Motherboard will be popular among altcoin miner since the MB and CPU price is higher than intel PC unless they also plan to mine altcoin with CPU.
I think the reason biostar (and all MB manufacture) use word "Bitcoin Mining MB" because bitcoin is popular and easy to remember than cryptocurrency mining MB, altcoin mining MB or ETH mining MB Roll Eyes

I agree that the AM4 platform doesn't have a great super-cheap GPU option, but it does depend on how expensive these boards go for.  If they are sub $70 you never know.

And I agree as well that if you call a board a "bitcoin" motherboard, everyone will assume 6 PCIE slots. Smiley

I saw this last week and was surprised nobody had cross posted it here yet.

Biostar is coming out with a couple of AM4 boards with many PCIE slots.  The press release above is funny IMHO as they say it's for Bitcoin Mining rigs, but we all know it's for GPU mining rigs of altcoins.
