This sounds new and intriguing. I like the part where you have to grind stuff to see numbers go up. That is very innovative. Also the part where you become a super-rich dude that can rival whole nations with the value of his inventory. That never happened before. I also think it's very cool how the antagonist is never shown. It adds to the mystery and keeps people wanting to play more of numbers-going-up.
I have a guy who is coming up with a more detailed storyline, would you be willing to participate? (as a developer or graphics guy - or you can do storyline too)

INTRODUCING:
Bitquest!
Short plot summary:
You wake up one day in a world where bitcoin is famous and valuable. It is the future and your goal is to eventually rise up the ranks and obtain 100 BTC.
(At that time each BTC is worth 10,000 USD)
You first start doing short tasks like designing sites and coding, but you earn more and more reputation as you rise up. When you get 100 BTC you beat the game! Another idea is to make it on a colony on Mars, etc.
