Hello all, I hope I have posted this in the right place.

This idea has been in the pipeline for a long time and I've decided that now's the time to unleash the record label.

The Label will operate a BITCOIN ONLY policy. Music will only be available for purchase in BTC and all Artists will be paid in BTC only. (We will also be helping the labels artists to set up Bitcoin wallets and advising on how best to keep them secure etc if needed, as we appreciate many may be new to the concept).

There are two reasons I'm pursuing this.

Firstly, to promote Bitcoin outside of it's current means to music lovers and artists alike, whom may have never heard of (or read little about), or used BTC before.

Secondly, Running in a BTC only format will allow us to pay the artists music revenues quicker than we ever could when going through conventional formats, (such as iTunes etc....)

I have been an electronic producer for too many years to recall now, however, when first starting out (and it's the same in all corners of the music business) payments come through thin and slow. Normally in 3 to 6 monthly cycles mainly slowed down by Major Corporations dragging their heels when releasing the funds.

What I would like to see is artists getting paid when there tracks and material sell and hopefully it helps them along the way with a career full time in the industry.

The Blockchain could have huge benefits to the industry as a whole and increase transparency, and It would be a great and no doubt welcome change to many producers/singers/songwriters.

The website is currently under construction. However, if you would like to follow us on twitter, that would be much appreciated. @BlockchainR

Many thanks for reading the post, and If you know of any artists budding or established or are indeed an artists yourself, then we'd love to hear from you.

All the best,

BR.
