Blockchain Technology is evolving rapidly. Bitcoin started its journey back in 2008. The blockchain of bitcoin is known as 1st Generation Blockchain. Ethereum introduced the concept of smart contracts technology in 2014. This was the beginning of 2nd generation blockchain. There was still an issue with blockchain scalability. Cardano, Zilliqa, ADA, AION, etc. are claiming to be the 3rd generation blockchain with innovation technology.
In 2019, MetaHash is claiming to be the 4th blockchain generation utilizing Multiple Proof of Stack Algorithm (MPOS).
We have to wait a little more for a more scalable and innovative blockchain.

Is there merit to declaring the launch of the Bitcoin network as an epoch in human history and considering everything that happened prior as "Before Bitcoin" and everything that happens hence as "After Bitcoin"? Afterall, the Bitcoin Blockchain is a global decentralized trustworthy timestamping service.
