You missed one of the important things in the news and that is the Coronavirus Ransomware itself is just a smoke screen for the malware they are trying to put into your system. Forbes already clarified it with their article that the ransomware itself is not the main objective by the hack but the malware it will try to download in your system. I didn't new this at first but I really wondered why a ransomware virus is just asking for 50$ so this maybe is the reason why because they really want to steal your private and personal information not the money they are asking.

It’s good that nobody trapped yet there. But we can not say that nobody will be get trapped. Yes, it’s really a very poor idea to steal money from crypto user. But there are many fool crypto users in the world.
Btw we should aware of this time of software than sending money to such things.

Old joke, I believe that no fool will be trapped. People are smarter from experience, scammers should also develop new ways. This oldness cannot make them rich   Cheesy

There is a new malware in town, aptly called CoronaVirus.

I wonder how the person who created this will react if their relative dies from coronavirus. There are people who seem to have no idea of the seriousness of things and act like children. coronavirus is not something to joke about or give this name to malware.

People who really fond of scamming innocent people will not really pick any occasion even the whole world is in turmoil because of this pandemic "COVID-19".

The most unfortunate thing is to know that He is hacker who is supposed to know programming, computer networks, read many books and news and use coronavirus to name your malware when he knows he can also get coronavirus and can even die because of cornavirus

Really it feels like a gold old scheme to scam people with that trick of depositing bitcoins, it is decryptor ransomware but his site isn't secured in the first place even by that it really looks suspicious at all. People who really fond of scamming innocent people will not really pick any occasion even the whole world is in turmoil because of this pandemic "COVID-19".

Good job OP for the dissemination in this board for people to be aware.

There is a new malware in town, aptly called CoronaVirus. And this time the method to spread the ransomware is very clever, the hackers created a fake Windows WiseCleaner.com

Code:
http://www.wisecleaner.best

(Fortunately, the site has been taken down already, thanks to those investigators who have reported it)

So it will ask you to download WSHSetup.exe, but it contains the CoronaVirus and password stealing trojan known as Kpot. If you fall victim and have executed the downloadable file, it will give you a warning like this asking 0.008 BTC (maybe this is just a test run that's why the demand is too low as this time.)

Scammers bitcoin address:
Code:
bc1qkk6nwhsxvtp2akunhkke3tjcy2wv2zkk00xa3j

So far though the balance is empty, meaning no one has fallen for this gimmick. However, I just want to give warnings to everyone, specially to beginners that they need to be careful and used our common sense not to download anything that is very suspicious.
