So you are promoting this new PI coin, right? I haven't seen any news about this coin anywhere. There is no community, no ANN thread, no active social channels for this coin, then how can you believe this will be a big thing in the future? Please kindly stop promoting shit here!

thats right, the guy who created this thread just want to promote the project called Pi
and for me its better to put our money on a reliable project such as ethereum, litecoin etc

for me all new crypto depends on the Team, if they really are serious about managing their project then their crypto will be a successful player, maybe even be able to defeat the existing ones. so we can judge the success of the new crypto by looking at the performance of the teams.

Yup, the market is always growing and of course when it grows, it will create more demand for the market. thereby leading to many teams forming and building their ideas into reality. Just that crypto has potential, it will always be noticed

In any case, this information is useful. It is not always possible to follow a large number of projects. Active mining is a good sign, but this is not yet a guarantee of the success of this project. I will read the information, thanks for sharing the link.

Hey guys!

I recently discovered a new Cryptocurrency called PI and I would like to know what you think of it. Personally, I think it could be one of the big players in the future if the community keeps growing at the same rate. For the people who've never heard about PI:

PI is a Cryptocurrency launched on March 3 2019 (PI-day) and developed by three Stanford graduates which is trying to solve the accesibility problem of the 1st generation Cryptocurrencies. They came up with the following solution: going mobile. They created a mobile application for the mining process which doesn't drain the battery and doesn't need any technical knowledge. Because the project is still in the first phase, the coin isn't worth anything. It will probably go on exchanges in 2020 but you can already mine it right now for free. The aim in the first Phase is to grow the network (currently at 75k miners). After that there's Phase two (testnet availaible) and Phase 3 (mainnet available). The mining rate gets smaller as the community gets bigger.

English isn't my native language and I'm not a very good writer, but if you want to read more before writing your thoughts below go read the white paper here: minepi.com/white-paper.

If you want to join the network, go to minepi.com/PiShare or download the app "Pi Network" directly from the Play or App Store. You'll need a code to join. Feel free to use the code "PiShare" which gives you permission to enter the mining process.

What do you think of it? Will it be able to compete with the big players? What's the predicted value of PI when it gets on exchanges? Will it ever go on exchanges? Or is it maybe an experiment by Stanford to research socio-economic stuff?

This is what many of you do after creating a project, and you claim you discovered it, are you there team member to market them?

If it was 2017 this one would've sold, But people don't really care about new ICOs or IEOs unless it's on big exchange like Binance or has new unique technology that will get demand. I personally am not sold, There are so many better projects.

I went through this project a month ago. It has nothing special though I loved the social mobile mining concept, it's a small team and would be really difficult for them to achieve anything. The competition is tough and people are not providing anyone investments without a second thought.

Actually I don't like this project. It has nothing to do with payments in practice, and its goal is not clearly implemented with partners. Although there are a lot of people using smathphone, but I think they do not need to have many devices to be able to miner and affect their personal devices. And you can see that there are many similar projects that have been launched and some very few can succeed.

Honestly, I did not find anything interesting in this project. I do not fully understand why this coin is needed, what is its value?

Indeed, there are already projects doing mobile apps for mining same like this and this is nothing new to me, if look on the projects listed on the cmc markets, you can find a hundreds of projects doing mobile mining, and all of them are not popular up to this very moment, maybe if this project could surpass the others, it could be the time that i could participate in it, but for now, ill focus to the best projects.

Is this PCHAIN? because it has the same ticket, PI.

Mining on phone? well that wouldn't work as I know.

Indeed, we really don't know what this new may contribute to the cryptocurrency community. Since the actual platform wasn't provided yet to become transparently be introduced to the public. Only that social media posts had shaken the information, but not totally been confirmed to be profitable or not; yet speculative ideas only remained trending.
