It's a shame but its for the best...I can't wait to see the new devs get to work

i suggest to setup either

- a motivational donation address (BTC or BSY) for the original dev to continue (if he is able to continue)

or

- a new bounty of let's say up to 1.000.000BSY for a great github commit which fixes the issues.

Yes you are right I underestimated the work involved. But to be fair at this point in time the Banksycoin features are just as innovative as most coins out there. My programmer was very good the issue is I just can't afford to pay him any more...

There are no major technical problems at the moment other than some issues with the coin-swap wallets. The issue is that as and when these problems arise I am unable to fix the issues myself and now I am out of funds I can't pay anyone to do it for me.

I underestimated the amount of ongoing work involved in the project and would rather pass on the project to someone with the skills to fix these issues themselves as well as add new innovative features.

We were planning to add video chat and market charts within the wallets and some other features but now I have not got the funds to continue.

We already have alot of great features- IRC chat in the wallets, built in block explorer within the wallets, a fully functional art gallery and affiliate program at www.banksycoin.co.uk plus our website looks way more professional than any other alt coin website I have seen.

As I said before I believe there is untold potential for the right Devs to make a go of it...If you go through the pages on our launch thread 90% of all the comments up until the last couple of weeks have been positive. Everyone agreed that Banksycoin was one to watch.

All it needs is a capable development team..

If you can't program these bitcointalk innovation crazies will eat you alive for new innovation everyday. if you go ahead put a dog or cat or some furry animal as your logo youll make it to the top.

how about establishing meanwhile an in-house bitcointalk trading thread like the unobtainium community already successfully established?

The truth is when I started this project I hired a programmer to complete the job for me. Unfortunately I hired a programmer that lives in another country and has had some serious personal issues lately that have severely hampered communications between us. He is very skilled and the work he has done is excellent, but due to the communication issues and my current financial situation I am now unable to continue working with him.

Many thousands of pounds spent and hours of work later, I have basically come to the end of my funds.

I truly believe that Banksycoin has some major potential in the crypto currency world, and rather than see it all go down the drain I am willing to hand over the entire project to a new development team.

I do not want any payment for this but you must be experienced and very motivated to make this work..

You have a lot to build on with the unique technical features of the coin, the art gallery and the current community. A lot of the initial hard work is already done..

There was a 10% premine- which was for giveaways and promotions. Most of this is still available to be placed in control of the new developers.

My concept was always to build a strong community and we started off extremely well. It is only very recently that we have encountered some very minor problems and I believe the right developers could easily swing this round and make something great here...

Everything is fully functional and working fine it's just the on-going maintenance I can't do myself and I have run out of funds to pay my developer.
