Yes i think you need more ads to make it profitable. Check this faucet http://bitbank.faucetfly.com/ to understand how many ads you need. It is one of my faucets , it is not paying any more because i was attacked by bots 
but when it was working it was profitable...

1. Don't use pop up ads because it's annoying and people don't wanna go to your site.
2. Don't use ads from CoinURL because they are total garbage. When you earn some satoshi you will got be banned from Coinurl and they will not answer you on support ticket.
P.S You can try to use adsense but you will get banned soon or later from adsense. So don't depend your earnings on adsense.

Nice got 250satoshis. But I think from 2ads you will not got back all that you will give away. Just my opinion.

NOrmally i only revisit faucets which gives at least 500 sat as minimum, but the chance to win 1000 sat is big.

Yea i like those faucets but the only thing i see with a lot of them is no ad after the
faucet payout ,more likely to get an ad click after the faucet payout imo
