Not a bad idea. Great opportunity for advertising revenue.

Main issue is that the algos have to be compatible with ad network's policies (impressions/IP, etc), if this would be based on ad net ads and not self served ads.

Re compatibility, the site owner would simply be on the same page as the advertisers in making sure all is kosher.

Back to what's envisioned, on the page where the game's being played, below the fold would be the complete list of advertisers (all linkable), thus earning yet more bang for their buck.

Getting the advertisers is no problem. Merely reach out to all the advertisers already participating on all the other faucet sites.

Another brainfart: On the third or forth move of the computer opponent, a 3 or 4 second pause occurs with a message across the game being played reading: Advertiser X is thinking about its next move (Acme Altcoinica is thinking about its next move). Again, more bang for the buck.

I already saw snake game, 2048's game paying satoshis, why not a tic-tac-toe game too?

It can be nice, at least to give faucet users some extra fun, instead of complete captchas only. A daily limit would be very important for the faucet sustainability on long term.

I just didn't understand why to use brands instead of X's and O's.

If using just X's and O's, the playing would only have the ability to see one ad paid for by an advertiser, an ad easily blocked out by the player, for he's only there for one thing, disregarding the rest, thus never ingraining a single brand. But if instead linkable advertiser's logos were used, the player has no choose but to ingrain the brands of TWO advertisers, his and the computer-generated opponent. The brands stare him in the face up to the very end of each game, ten games per round, a complete round must be played prior to the player being credited his faucet reward.

To boot, ALL nine cells of the tic-tac-toe games are also links to the two advertisers' sites to augment the other two links to the same sites somewhere else on the page. In essence, a player sees one ad exactly six times and the other ad exactly five times. That's more bang per buck for the advertiser in achieving exactly what they're currently receiving on most all other faucet sites. If you were an advertiser, which faucet would you be more inclined to advertise on if all else were equal?

A faucet that rewards bitcoins or altcoins after each game of tic-tac-toe. Yes, the computer beats you every time, but so what? You're there to earn coins, not win the game.

Here's the beauty of the idea. Instead of X's and O's, you choose which logo of an available advertiser you want to represent you, then the site quasi-randomly uses a logo of a different advertiser to be your opponent.

During play you can't help but ingrained the advertisers' brands. After ten rounds, you're ask to select a new advertiser to represent you (just thought of that aspect to thwart botting, albeit other defense mechanisms will be in place to counter bots.). In round two, your new opponent would be the logo of the brand you first chose. Round three opponents would be what was chosen during round two.

I'm sure a max number of rounds per day may be considered, but then again perhaps not.

Thoughts?
