You beat me to it; that's the first thing that came to mind when I read OP's suggestion.  The only problem is that a member might not have only selling threads, so you might have to do some extra browsing to search through them.

But I don't know if this is a feature that would be of great importance anyway, especially since it's the first time I've heard anything like it suggested.  Even if it isn't super important, sure, why not create the feature?  Answer: It isn't a community decision, and Theymos ignores some really good suggestions (like having a mobile-friendly version of the forum), so the likelihood of this happening is infinitesimal.

That's the reality, OP.
I think we should also consider how important is sales in the forum to Theymos. Is it something he will give an express attention? According to you, there are more important features he is yet to implement.
Alternative to using a profile link, I think one can create a thread in the service board where he will gather all his sales or services thread in a place and bumb when necessary.
I believe Theymos is seeing the forum as a perfect one and may not make further changes till the new forum software is launched.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) your proposal is likely to be ignored.

I mean that a couple of times I also published as it seemed to me several interesting proposals, but I received an unambiguous answer that if they are implemented, they will be implemented only in Epochtalk. But the catch is that before adding new functions, developers must eliminate smoe bugs (although this may no longer be relevant), in addition, any change within the current version of the forum requires parallel intervention in the Epochtalk code.

Anyway, if you are really interested in feedback from the person directly responsible for this, just contact Cyrus or ask about it on the Discord channel.

It would be a good idea if the forum develops, but I do not think that adding such feature will help, especially since there are a few people who visit Marketplace boards compared to other boards, so the solution is to group them in one topic and create a small site to display all your products, provided that you add it at the end of each topic you have.

anyway good suggestion Cheesy
Not much idea about the coding required for this.

May be if an upgrade is in process or being thought upon , then this feature might also be considered.

As well as what Loyce said on that one, aside from any rules: it just looks quite weird and might stop people looking at your other threads and other threads on that board.

A far analogy that's as close as I can get is a shopkeeper owning 5 autonomous (self running and self contained) shops on the same highstreet is going to do much worse than a shopkeeper owning them across multiple towns. 3 of those shops are going to go unused because they're not the ones on either end of the street that are easier for people to access.

Instead of adding a new feature for that, it'd be better to just follow the rule [#30] that @LoyceV quoted [assuming that all of them belong to a single board] and only bump "a single" thread.

You can view all topics made by a user on one page: https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=459836.
The only problem is that a member might not have only selling threads, so you might have to do some extra browsing to search through them.
Easy fix: add "For sale" to the title, use CTRL-F.
And for threads that don't have a proper label, they could narrow down the results by each board.

Add the following things at the end of the above link: &board=board number
e.g. List of topics on the "Invites & Accounts" sub-board
Code:
https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=1341921&board=234.0

It's not. The few people who sell enough to need it can just keep a spreadsheet with links.

1)Member can find all his sale threads at one place. Can edit, change, lock or bump together saving time.
2) When someone launches a new sales thread, other members can check his previous sale threads and determine his professionalism. Will prevent fraud.
1) You can do it yourself, search e in search box, check Search in topic subjects only and check the sale boards (i.e. service, marketplace etc)

2) Wrong, that's not how you determine his professionalism or prevent fraud. He can create sock puppet accounts or hire shills to post fake trading. Trust feedback is the way to know the seller's reputation.

If you have so many sales threads that you need an additional feature to manage them, you're probably breaking the forum rules:
16. Do not have more than one active sales topic in the Currency exchange board. [3]
~
30. Similar marketplace items must be listed together.[2][e]

Why ?
It might be annoying:
13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e]

I think members have been using the other contact information sections to do this for a while and that's not worked too badly.

You'd have to add a different section of topics for yours too to assert that they're different in the database and store extra info that the forum might not want to.

It'd also be a good idea to try to bookmark your own sales pages or maybe just make a list of then on what ever device you're on so you can easily find them all and move between them to update them - bumping them all at once doesn't seem like a good idea anyway.

One new feature that can implemented on the forum is listing all the sale threads posted by an user at one place.
Just like
"Show the last posts of this person."
and
"Show the last topics started by this person."

we can also have
"Show the last sale threads of this person."

Benefits
1)Member can find all his sale threads at one place. Can edit, change, lock or bump together saving time.
2) When someone launches a new sales thread, other members can check his previous sale threads and determine his professionalism. Will prevent fraud.
