Yes, and I'm trying to lead people who might surf the internet and find this article and who might own a card like this to the thread where they can see other people's set ups.  You didn't think people stopped searching for a term just because a post was old did you?

One 6870 = 280-300 mhash/s without water cooling @ 950-1000mhz cores

Usually you can get these for $180-220 or less if you know a good source. So... to have a dual density 6870 card for $100 over the price of two separate cards, well if you're really into paying for density per box maybe that's ok but I'd just go 6990 if I wanted density.
