Sure, i/we can help;

How much do you pay for your electricity?

Also where do you plan on putting the miners and how will you dump the heat?

I live in Ukraine. But I have an idea to come USA & start mining legally there.

So, there are electricity prices in Ukraine:
– <100 kW/h - 0,018 USD
–100– >600 kW/h 0,0592 USD

I have a garrage (maybe rent more bigger placement).
About you dump the heat, which ways are correct? Air conditioning?

Ideally, if it's worth it, I plan to rent (buy) bigger place for work of mining station (50 000$ or 100 000$), hire staff (3-5 persons).

I am intrested - what is profit in percentage per month, year.

Wow. Okay huh.

-No, no staff.
-No, no AC, dump the heat outside.
-In your Garage, will your neighbor complain if you generate noise about as loud as a train running in your backyard?
-0.06USD/kWh is fine

Look into S4/S5 Maybe S7.

Good to see I'm not the only one that thought it was crazy.   I think it's sad when threads are like this.  A person who likely could have had a successful personal bitcoin operation .... sees greed and want's to to 100 times bigger.

I think a lot of these think they are the first one to think of going big like that.... they arent.  I wonder if we will even see OP again I saw last login: Last Active:    November 30, 2015, 08:46:37 PM

Indeed.

However mysteryo_X is not OP and it seem fine for him to Hijack the thread. So i'm okay with bouncing ideas, however crazy they might be. Just some questions were asked that should not be asked if you're planning to up scaling things.

Start with a S3/S5, set it up, then figure upscalling.

What the hell would employees do but stare at a couple dozens of miners with earplugs anyways Tongue

The only reason I can think of is his country Ukraine.  Recent articles/news do not make it sound like a really great spot.  I could be wrong as I have not been there I'm just judging by articles.

But I would guess he would need security if he had  a warehouse of miners there.   But finding someone to invest there... will be hard to say the least.

Your getting WAY to far ahead of yourself.   So many do this they add up... if I get X miners.... I could be huge!

You are pretty new look into starting slow.  If you cannot handle 1k for a lotto machine you cannot handle a big operation there is much more then that in operation costs when starting.

I highly suggest start looking into mining for yourself.  But at this point don't go trying to get other people to rent, or send you gear.   There is a lot to read for example standard AC would never work large scale asic data centers and server data centers are very different.

Hello. May I know how to start mining? What system to buy? I want to start from 10 000$ - for test drive. How to calculate profit per month, year? As I know the difficulty computing's of tasks - grows every two weeks.

To solo mine as a very low chance lottery-style, you would need to buy a USB ASIC miner like the sidehack stick and run the miner.

Hello everyone,

I came here the first time in 2013, but had alot to do in that year, so now i am finally back.

I have been looking into Bitcoin mining for several years now, but never really made it into mining anything, i once had some software that did run a miner for me, but that was a long time ago now, i have tried several programs now, but none of them supports a Nvidia Geforce 970, so i can´t even mine from my GPU, besides i have also heard that it would take million of years that way, so my actual question was more,

1) What do i need to solo mine? Since i have seen it being more popular these days to solo mine, i think it would be the best for me

2) What software could you guys recommend using?

3) I have been looking into hardware, at this stage of my life, spending 1000$ on a device for solo mining would be way too much, but less could do.

Thanks in advance.

okay if you want to solo mine look into an antminer s-3 price is lower then 200 on ebay around 149 .

here in market place lower then that.  it spends 350 watts for 450gh hash that is about .85 cents a day or 25 usd a month if you have 10 cent a kwatt power.  so if you get one for 150 with a decent psu at the end of the year  you will spend 450-500 usd and most likely not hit a block. but you never know.

You cannot mine Bitcoin with GPU's anymore, you're a few years too late sadly.

To solo mine as a very low chance lottery-style, you would need to buy a USB ASIC miner like the sidehack stick and run the miner.

To solo mine for real, you would need much, much more than 1000$ as initial investment. 1000$ is like a peanut compared to how much hardware you need nowadays.
