Currently there are new ICOs, inside the token integrates many different protocols and technologies. That enriches the cryptocurrency platform. Blockchain, blockless, sidechain, blocknet, 3D blockchain and much more
i dont have a project idea in mind but i like the thinking of the OP.

It's very hard to suggest anything if you don't know the problem at all.
You shouldn't look for a solution if you don't know the problem. You should also know that there is hundreds of billions of dollars market for altcoins that are doing exactly that, trying to find a problem they can solve with a blockchain and pretty much all of them are useless. So don't expect for anyone to give you an idea just like that, there is a lot of money to be made (and unfortunately lost) on the hype of blockcain solutions and they would rather profit on it by themselves.
