Yes I have to agree here. The plastic and aluminum case original Trezors (now called Trezor One) went on pre-sale back in June 2013. Plastic case cost one bitcoin, aluminum was three bitcoin. So about $300 for an aluminum Trezor at that time and exchange rate. The aluminum Trezors did not ship until late April 2014 so actual cost to the people who pre-ordered was really about $1200 since bitcoin price had appreciated. I could see $300 as still a fair price for an aluminum Trezor One as automated machining of aluminum has come a long way since 2013.
Yes $300 would be a buy for me...but this is a bit out of my price range.
