The real question is why does anybody care?

Why shatter the privacy of a brilliant man who gave us all a gift?

In my opinion, it's the same reason why we want to learn more about people whose work we respect, whether they are scientists, programmers, artists, or writers.

We want to find out how they did what they did, and why they did it.

After the last "real" Satoshi was hounded for a week by reporters, I'd beg to differ.

Most of these people are muckrakers who want to be "the guy who found Satoshi."

I'm as eager to pick his brain as the next guy - but it's obvious how and why he made Bitcoin - to what ends are up to US. Have some respect for his privacy. Jeesh.

Quote
“Our study adds to the weight of evidence pointing towards Nick Szabo. The case looks pretty clear-cut. Szabo is an expert in law, finance, cryptography and computer science. Did Nick Szabo create Bitcoin? We’re not sure, but we think he probably wrote the paper so it’s certainly worth a closer look.”

Do you think that we have finally found the real Satoshi Nakamoto?
