It's a way for increasing power projection for Turkey and Georgia seeking safety through balanced diplomacy. Azerbaijan is a protectorate of Turkey.

Azerbaijan and Turkey are one people - two states, so the definition of a protectorate is a mistake.

Turkey is establishing itself as a regional power and have no conflict of interest with Gerogia from where it receives pipeline full of gas.
Armenia choosing west over Russia got it's land grabbed by the Turkish puppet of Azerbaijan. Georgia already has it's land lost to Russia.

New military-strategic alliance in the Caucasus

A significant event took place in the South Caucasus region; Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey concluded a military-strategic alliance at a meeting of the defense ministers of these countries in Baku. This union is not unexpected, but quite an expected regional event and is the final stage against the backdrop of the existing economic ties between Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan, and, most importantly, having the prospect of further expansion to the East, if we take into account the revival of the Great Silk Road, which connected in ancient times Mediterranean civilization with China. (1) It must be said that part of this global highway has already been created by Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, and a new military alliance between these countries will guarantee the security of the East-West route, which is key to the world economy.
