New crypto miner wannabe on here, some guide lines are needed

1. Can I mine on any motherboard? Been AMD or Intel doesn't matter?
2. Must I buy AMD gpus for AMD motherboard and vice versa?
3. I heard it's big problem for newbies to config pools themselves, any easy way around this?
4. Best are the best GPU to buy for convenient mining for newbie?

Its better to buy Nvidia cards for mining if you are thinking about building a mining rig, Nvidia cards have less headaches when configuring them, Nvidia cards are pretty straight forward when setting up, they support more algorithms that are profitable than AMD cards like RX580 for example, once ethereum isn't an option on this card anymore its near a waste of time

AMD cards aren't that bad and the new RTX are way easier in terms of efficiency, AMD driver are less stable compares to Nvidia drivers but it won't take much hassle to change a driver for another

Now is not a good time for building and buying mining equipment, would have be better if gpu are less costly but they are not right now, also as a newbie I would advise you to start with a single gpu, there is a lot you have to learn here, pool differences, hashing power and algorithms, etc that is if you want to go deep, many don't care as they feel satisfied with Nicehash software which doesn't requires knowing too much about mining

Great site for beginners
https://mining.help/
I would not advise a beginner now to buy new equipment and engage in mining. If you have 1 video card at the RX 470 level, then you can learn how to configure miners for different pools and coins.
For the rest, do not invent anything, use the components that you can find in the miners' reviews on YouTube.

1 yes but there are mother boards that are not very useful over others  example of a board not useful is one with 1 pcie slot ... and thats it.  most mini atx boards are a waste of time.  and try to avoid proprietary boards from dell or HP  while they are excellent products generally their power supply connections tend to be non standard making it hard to work with.
2 no and you can mix them.
3 some of the instructions of the various mining software Can be unclear so do a little research on some of the commands.
4 best gpu is one you own in this market.   buying one now isnt very easy unless you are willing to dump large amounts of money at them.  they are selling for 3x and 4x regular prices a 150 dollar card can cost you 600 no joke.  the upside is if the market continues the 3x and 4x cost will still pay for itself in  4 or 5 months.  But for specific card i would aim for rx 580 8 gig.   2 two reasons 1 they seem to be more common then the 1080ti.  and 2 they are easier to get a hold of at not completely insane prices. still 3x normal price though. make sure you get one with 2 fans.  single fans cards wont cut it.

1. Yes.
2. Doesn't matter
3. Setting up Phoenix/TeamRed/LoL takes ~5 min if you can read basic instructions and copy and paste your wallet address.
4. Good luck finding any. Probably the 3060ti,3070,or 3080.

Don't blow up your risers by powering them with sata, don't skimp on power supplies, don't invest more then you're willing to lose, etc.
