You wrote something wrong in the config.

Follow the instructions for pool mining, it should work better.

Sounds like you don't have the wallet running or you didn't make a .conf file

What are you saying?! You dont have a Nvidia or AMD card? CPU mining is dead my friend, im sorry. Its not profitable atleast. If you want to do it anyway i suggest you look into mining Monero. But as i said, you wont make money on it. you will lose.

Heyo,

So I've recently been encouraged by a techie friend to mine denarius. It's just started so it's still reasonably easy to mine.

So I go online and find some online instructions. Do I have an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card? Neither. So CPU mining it is.

So I find some online [instructions for denarius mining](https://steemit.com/gpu/@sayyedraza/let-s-start-mining-denarius-new-algo-tribus).

I follow the instructions, download the thingy, set up the conf file where I'm supposed to, open my new wallet, and copy-paste into the command line and get this:

>4 miner threads started using 'tribus' algorithm
>
>json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds
>
>json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds
>
>json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds

I'm sure there's something frighteningly simple that I'm supposed to be doing, but I have no idea what. Any idea what that could be?
