Some responsibility needs to be placed on people who are buying crypto to ensure that they know what they are purchasing. Likewise, anyone selling crypto needs to be honest about what's being sold or they can be charged with fraud.

With regards to the name, we're in the speculative phase of Blockchain technology and because it's Open Source then there's very, very little which can be done about what people call their products. So, until the wheat is separated from the chaff then we'll need to put up with the possible confusion:
Bitcoin Atom
Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Diamond
Bitcoin Fast
Bitcoin God
Biticoin Lightning
Biticoin Lottery
Biticoin Plus
Biticoin Quick
Biticoin Red
Biticoin Scrypt
Biticoin Silver
Biticoin White
Biticoin2x
Biticoin Dark
BiticoinUltra
BiticoinX
BiticoinZ

Does anyone question the name BitcoinZ? It may not be the best name for the coin. The letter Z donates the last of the last. This title may bring up negative connotations if Bitcoin ever goes totally south or gets tarnished. People may not want to be reminded of the name whatsoever as more coins are adopted. I know you are trying to make it Bitcoin2.0, but including the entire name BitCoin in it seems odd and people are going to question what it is.

Why don't you call it TidBit, or something creative? TidBit works pretty well actually and supports the loss of all the .000000001 issue.
